I need to try out a few I think.. Not that I'm not enjoying the Aguilar. I just want to test the waters with a few different string sets and amp setup's to see if theres a better fit for my need. Appreciate all the insight chaps.

This thread reeks of Line 6/Behringer.. Jokes aside, it probably boils down to the PA rig capability, how heavy the touch is of the player, how loud the band is.. or maybe they just like mad lows.

Check 'Zakrzewski' too .. I had one and sold it and I shouldn't have. They'll come in pretty much on budget I would have thought.

For that kind of budget you should get a beaut regardless.. I play a Fodera Imperial and I hands down hold it as the best bass I've played - thats probably an even mixture of my soul telling me it is and my wallet telling me it IT WANTS TO BE!.. Are Fodera the best? I don't really care about that.. Owning one hasn't stopped me gassing for a Pedulla fretless, a Mattisson or one of the new Ken Smith Singlecuts .. I think your purchase whatever the case just needs to gel with how and what you play - the shape and the fancy bits aren't too important if its singing and you're digging playing it.. If it's an instrument to play over a lifetime then whats a daft £6000-£12,000 among friends

Given me some serious things to think about here guys. I'm not at all disappointed with the aguilar TH500 tone, its nice.. Can't help feel theres a better solution out there for me though - fueled by every time I've heard a Tecamp being used I've been left with this face 900 and 1000 are getting looked at

Looking to delve in to the world of tecamp's to assist my aguilar rig. Just a bit of a change from the aguilar tone really - not to replace it necessarily. Curiousity more than anything... Any good recommendations? Cheers.

I loved my Dingwall super-p 4.. very little adjustment needed from regular frets to fanned I thought. Super comfortable!
