Hi, Just picked up a Hohner B2a through Gumtree and very nice it is too. I have query; the battery cover says 1 [i]or[/i] 2 batteries - as I received it, it is fitted with one, the second position being occupied by a metal "thing" with a hole in it marked "OUT" with a L to H arrow 'round it, and a variable pot buried inside. Whilst having the right size and shape to fit in the space of a second battery, attempts to remove it reveal it to be wired in. So, is the legend on the battery cover just generic on a bought-in component, or is a replacement ? What is the metal "thing"? Is it original? Any ideas? Serial on the bass is 8614396 if that's any help at all.
