15. [s]Price drop!! £##inc/ courier[/s] The last price drop: £ ## incl shipping without dtuner . (december 2016) The stingray it's 1978 bass. The body was refinished long time ago (I believe) in a translemmon color. It was refretted and the actual frets are in perfect shape. The back of the neck was left without varnish and protected with oil like the actual stingrays. The dates of the parts are: Neck 22 Feb 1978 Body 25 Aug 1978 Pots 41st week of 1978 and 1st week of 1979 The preamp is the early 79 preamp without the black epoxy coat. I think in the early 79 the bass was electricaly repaired. The pickup its the original. Logically the foam mutes are not of 1978 ;-) The weight: 9,48 pounds (4,3 kg) very light for a slab body The original case disappeared(?). IT comes with a ernie ball stingray case. I bought the bass here in basschat from Brams77 3 years ago with an old non original hardcase You can see here the pics The price include the shipping costs. Trades: Fender jazz bass custom shop Fender Jazz Bass Am Vintage 62 in sunburst + cash

21. Thanks a lot fpr your comments. i know the volume "issue". In the near future I will try a tapes to compare the feel and the sound. As soon I can , I'll record with both type of strings
22. Thanks a lot for your comments. In my case, the bass is fretless and the noise there is not important but the bronze strings are not an option. I don't want hurt the fingerboard. I don't know what is the difference in sound, volume and tension comparing with the flats
23. Hi everybody Recently I acquired a acoustic fretless (thanks Chris). Now the bass has a daddario Chrome's string set. It sounds good, but I don't know if nylon tapewound strings could sound more audible unplugged, without loose the deep. Please, give me your opinion and your experience. Thanks
24. I just purchase a breedlove fretless bass from Chris. In spite of there are 2000 km between us, I received a perfect instrument. I am a lucky man to make deals with him. Buy with confidence whereever you are. Thanks a lot, Chris
