I have a good condition rosewood Squier VM Precision neck that I'm currently using on a bitsa build, looking to swap for a jazz bass neck as my bass of choice is now firmly a precision after playing ibanez basses for many years previous, never tried a jazz profile neck on a precision hence this trade offer and am keen to try something a little less "meaty" My neck is in good condition, next to no fret wear, truss rod works as it should, there is a slight scratch on the treble side of the first fret wire where I slipped a little when profiling the fret edges but it doesn't affect playability and it's nothing that shouldn't polish out a treat, haven't done it myself as it's not really noticeable Comes without machine heads as I'm keeping the gotoh ones on it currently but will come with neck plate and screws Pictures to follow and measurements on request, Only looking to trade and not sell as the neck is currently on one of the basses I use regularly so I'm going to need a replacement pretty much straight away Any jazz necks going spare anywhere? Get in touch

Hi all, recently acquired a brand new vintage modified jazz bass in 3 tone sunburst I bought the guitar from a local music shop at a very good, "closing down all stock must go" kind of price with the intention of just using the neck off of it, so literally, bought guitar, got it home, took neck off, have an unplayed, fully loaded body left taking up space Will try and get some pictures up in the next day or so Price above (OVNO) will get the guitar to your door MAY consider trades for any of the following (in no particular order) with cash adjustment either way if necessary Decent tuner pedal High mass bridge (badass II or stock fender preferred) Good quality p bass wiring loom Black p bass pick guard Good quality p bass fitting hardcase Try me with anything you have

They are cracking basses, wasn't overly struck on the grease bucket thing so changed that out for a standard circuit with the same pickups, love it now, my GAS has, for the last year and the foreseeable, been tamed....... Just curious as to what pickups they are in this bass as I heard some have Mexican, some have USA pickups, I'll assume, given the other "upgrades" my guitar has being post 2006, that they would be USA pickups but I'm more than happy to be corrected, just not sure how to tell so maybe someone with more knowledge that me can tell me what the markings on the underside of them mean in regards to identification

hi all, I'll try and keep this as brief as I can, long story short, last year I decided to take the plunge on an american Precision bass, I decided in the end, despite having thew funds for a "proper" USA standard, to search out a post 2006 Highway One Precison instead as I figured a couple of things, they are petty much USA standard instruments minus through body stringing and other minor points, and having thinner paint I would get the road worn look (I like that sort of thing) a bit easier so, to the point........the precison I found is a 2008 model, it has the badass II bridge, it has the reinforcement graphite rods running through the neck, it has the greasebucket tone circuit (which I changed back to "standard" circuit) etc etc I read somewhere that some of the highway ones had mexican pickups, some had usa pickups, either way I am happy with the noise my bass kicks out so I doubt any changes are on the horizon, but it got me a little curious, I have no idea which are in my bass and dont know how to tell, so, if any of the more knowledgeable of you guys / gals would have any dea / information, that'd be spot on, just to know for curiosities sake if no other reason taking the pickups out I found the following underneath............ can anyone enlighten me an further? cheers in advance

Just putting the feelers out for my Boss RC-50 Hasnt been used in a while but still works as it should, good cosmetic condition, power supply and home printed instruction book Only looking to get rid of it as I don't really have much use for it anymore Not overly fussed about letting it go so would be looking for trades for new "toys" before a sale, Trade / part ex wise not really sure what I'm after so try me with anything bass-gear related big considerations (in no particular order) would be going towards -Full scale hollowbody bass -Ampeg BA combo amp with effects loop -Precision style fretless or a project precision bass that I could defret myself - decent pedal tuner Try me with anything, you (and neither do I) know what might take my fancy Whatcha got?!
