1. Selling my Hercules ShokSafe single floor stand. In excellent condition. Info here http://www.herculess...fe_guitar_stand Looking for £20 posted.
2. Replied.
3. Electro-Harmonix Bass Big Muff. Where they get the name for this I don't know! Anyways it's a fuzz box for the bass. Hardly been used, so in first class condition. Looking for £35 posted.
4.
Less if you tuck the D string back under the string tree!
Ooops, didn't notice that! Sorted now.
5. This bass started life as a MIJ around 1990. When I bought it I found the neck was slightly twisted and difficult to get a good action,so I swapped it out for a new Mighty Mite neck, Ernie Ball Flatwounds, Schaller tuners and a Gotoh 203 bridge. I didn't touch the electrics or pots. It sounds and plays great, though a little road worn. I'm looking for £320, price to include a nearly new Spider hard case and postage.
6.
Sent you a PM. Would be interested in this if you are selling. Thanks, Paddy.
Replied.
7.
In what way is it not in great shape?
Well, apart from all the holes where various tuners etc have been fitted it may also be slightly twisted. It's playable, but I had trouble getting the action low enough for me.
8. I have a Fender P neck with the serial # K037444 which I reckon dates it around 1990. It's not in great shape and I'm interested to know if it would be worth trying to sell it or just use it for firewood!
9. Looks like James is collecting Comfort Strapps! He bought mine and the deal went through with no problems whatsoever. A pleasure to deal with.
10. Comfort Strapp-Long for sale, has had a bit of use, but still in excellent condition. Looking for £20 posted.
11. I have owned both of these basses and whilst I would be the first to admit my knowledge of basses is very limited, for me the P bass is the better of the two, purely because I prefer the sound of the P over the Jazz. Having said that I prefer the look and neck of the Jazz! I'm sure that has helped a lot....not!
12. If it were me in your position. I would go for a Roland Cube 100 amp and then spend as much as you can afford on a nice bass. Fender or maybe a Squier Classic Vibe.
13. Thanks for that Barrie!
14. I use a Roland Cube 100, great little amp.
15. Up for sale my CV Precision in Sonic Blue. Had this bass for a little while now and only used it at home to noodle on so it's in immaculate condition, but have recently bought a Fender and so this is now surplus to requirements. Plays well as you would expect from these basses and the finish is top notch. Looking for £210 posted and the price includes a new Planet Waves strap and gig bag, non Fender. This is a nice bass, if interested p.m. me. Thanks
16.
Do you have a woodburner?
Yes, maybe that's the way to go!
17.
How twisted? A luthier can tell you if it is repairable. They have all sorts of tricks for fixing this sort of thing. Get it straightened then you can sell it.
I've had a quote from two luthiers and they reckon it would cost me between £175/£200 to have it defretted and levelled. I doubt it would be worth it?
18. I have a Fender Precision neck that I have replaced with a new neck because it is slightly twisted! The serial number suggests it was made in Japan 1990/1991. Overall the neck is in good condition, though the tuners are not original. What to do with it? It would be a shame to just throw it away, would it be worth anything?
19.
MB1. Postman knocks on door this morning,i hear it get up,get to the door as hes driving off.The guy must have waited all of 30 seconds for me to answer the door? well the time it takes to fill the card in anyway!.Apparently i now have to wait two working days to go and collect it myself from the sorting office. I then look at the card and its not for me!
LOL Sorry for laughing, but I've been there and it's really irritating!
20.
I'd have gone with black pup covers, but that pink looks rather nice.
+1 for the black pup covers. Love that pink.
