    Just a thought seeing as you are already prepared to take a £120 loss, why not buy an 8 ohm driver and sell the existing driver? Watford Valves have some real bargains at the moment such as this one: https://www.watfordvalves.com/product_detail.asp?id=3558 I'm sure with some shopping around, you could also find a decent second hand driver for even less, or maybe someone in the basschat family has one to sell. Good luck either way, but shame to see you lose so much on a cab that you really like.

    Does the V6 have the 4 ohm and 2 ohm selector switch? The V4 that I have has 8 ohms and 4 ohms switch. So surely as for loudness, it would also depend on what cab you are driving the amp into? One thing is for sure, the V4 into an 8 ohm load is loud enough for what I need!!

    I have one of these. Excellent bit of kit and great for live recordings also. Very easy to use at a basic level, so with little effort you can start recording out of the box. The manual is quite comprehensive and there is a lot of support on the net should you be like me and prefer to google specific questions. Highly recommend this. GLWTS!

    Amazon do them. Think I might have got mine from ebay years ago. Search horizontal guitar wall bracket, or horizontal guitar wall hanger. I can adjust the angle on mine also.

    I have a 5 string version and it makes an excellent travel bass as well as holding its own in a live situation. You are right, this is definitely priced to sell. GLWTS!
