1. Yep, it pretty much sums it up. Buzzard and Stryker, and Corvette 2005LE. I don't know for the 5th anniversary. You can order through a reputed dealer a Custom Shop Vampyre. Base Price is for an NT vampyre is 5454.90€ (oil finish) Alternate P'up selection is around 300€ (you have to ask, ot's not on the price list) Alternate routing is 254.10€. And here you go.
2.
This
OoooOoooooh, shiny :-) Was that the Chrome Streamer that was on the EvilBay not so long ago ?
3. Yes, truly. They were dirt cheap a few years back and now impossible to find. I'm still on the lookout to get another one. Just in case.
4. For those who dig 2x10 combos... Just don't look. x SUNN BetaBass 100w 2x15"Combo + HenryThe8x8" Waking'up my neighbor's neighbor's neighbors. Yes, with only 100W. That's my idea of Downsizing.
5. I just assumed by the photographs that the bass was new. Or just like new. Well, really near to new. If it's been played, and is played, that's fine by me. I did not mean any disrespect, of course. Stinky Pete is a toy in toy story that has never been played with, he's brand new and still in his box.
6. I supposed you've seen this ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HOFNER-CLUB-BASS-OWNED-MICK-KARN-JAPAN-VINTAGE-SIXTIES-HOFNER-BASS-/390867961586 Not that I want to tempt you :-)
7. I'm sorry, but seeing this beauty in a so mint condition, with all the "candy" still intact makes me think about... I think it's kinda sad to let this bass unplayed, but who is going to have the heart to put a ding or a scratch in a so wonderfully maintained intrument ?
8. OK, now you have to give the names and specs to all of those... Especially the two on the top right corner. And.. .is that a Fender Urge without à P ?
9. Street. :-) http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Picabo_Street
10. ... Anannannnnnd got my hands on a Dolphin Pro1 finally, after seling the Washburn DoubleNeck. Here name is Sofia.
11.
I think all the customised Trujilo ones are for Rob Trujilo though, probably don't offer anything like that for regular punters...
Well, that's a LoOOOooOot of basses !
12. ANd yet there is a sh*tload of modified Trujillo in the CS gallery. As for the Hellborg, I'd say they won't be making another run soon... But I guess that the best possible answer would come from Warwick : have you tried getting in touch with them ? Their customer service is very friendly.
13. Try to be on the lookout on the Warwick forum. And maybe the Norvegian guy is on vacation, let him a bit of time. I've seen a Dolphin 5 SetNeck on Gumtree somewhere, already sold ?
14. Dolphin 5ers are made with a part of Unicorn's semen and Hydra toenails. This made them pretty hard top come by. The Dolhin is an amazing instrument, and I'd say save up, keep the money so you can jump on the good one when it shows up.
15. Dolphin-shaped-type of bump for a friendly priced beauty !
16. Shaïte. Congrats to the new owner, I'm officially jealous. :-)
17. I just love the p'up configuration, too bad I can't stand the Corvette Shape.
18. Awesome bass, a few reviews place it at higher value than the Squier equivalent with ebonol fingerboard. Too bad, we both live up North... in different countries.
19. Hello All, I'm Henry, living in Northern France. I'm 40, playing bass since I was 17, my Gods are named Stuart Hamm and TM Stevens. I own a few basses, (Regal Dobro Bass, Olympia Acoustic bass, Höfner Beatle Bass Ignition, all of those with PIccolo Strings, my main basse is a '90 Spector NS-2A (Korean, don't get to excited), with custom electronics and a P/MM Bartolini Pick-Ups. Isabelle (that's her name) is currently under the hands of a Luthier in order to renew it and put a Kahler tremolo on. And my last acquisition is a Nirvana black '91 Warwick Dolphin Pro2. I owned a blue one in the past, sold it to get a Marcus Miller Jazz Bass... and regretted it. Sally (that's the Dolphin's name) is nowhere near a mint condition, but I still love the sound. I'm trying to save some money in order to get another Dolphin, I do hope I'll manage to get my hands on a Pro1, but it'll be difficult to convince The Wife. :-) I'd also like to have a second Pro2, that I could modify a bit :-) Oh, and I'll be at the Warwick Bass Camp in September, Hope to see some of the folks there !
20. I keep it minimal : '78 SD Curlee Curbeck2 and '79 Sunn BetaBass.
21. Can you descibe the controls ? There a switch, it's for the LEDs ? and just to be sure :
I also had it defretted and lines put in by the boys in the workshop at the Gallery.
So it's a fretless now ?
