Cash sale £580 FS/FT my Lakland JO 5 works great, just installed a set of Dunlop Nickel Super Brights, fantastic strings. Comes with hard case. Possible trade for a 4 string jazz. Might also add cash for something interesting. A micro-scratch on neck, not visible, can only be felt on close inspection, see picture with finger. Nice playing and some nice basses. -
Fast track is good. The basic Pro Tools software it comes with has all you need for simple recordings.
Heard great things about em, at the rate I change strings I hope to give them a try before 2020!
For the first time I bought several different sets of strings and tested them on the same bass. Strings do matter, I discovered,
Really? That's surprising! What was lacking? I've seen him about 7 times and was outstanding everytime Si
I saw him twice; once at a masterclass and that was great, he just played the bass for an hour or so. Then i saw him with the band and was expecting the same ; I suppose it was a great concert; it was just me expecting something else- I love him as a bass player but am not a fan of his composing I guess.
I use TC Hall of Fame. Lovely warm tone and goes on for ages if you want it to. Video below has it at various lengths on the mod model.
Thanks, sounds great! That's exactly what I'm looking for.

Hi, Any suggestions on a good reverb pedal for bass? Maybe EHX Hall of Fame (the larger version)?

DIDN'T see Wayne Shorter Quartet, cancelled! Patittucci, Blade, Perez. Was really excited about this one, got tickets months ahead, sadly Shorter fell ill. Hope he recovers and starts touring again. Did see Richard Bona, little dissapointing, maybe wasn't his day. Saw Jim Hall just before he passed away, that was great. His trio played in a not so small venue without any amplification except the guitar amp, Joey Baron is the quietest drummer alive, what a master.

Recently started using these, the nickel version, and must say they're the best strings I've tried so far. Interestingly on the back of the wrapping they are advertised as strings for the slapping bassist. I do not slap often, they're great for any style. Have them on both a jazz and a bartolini equiped bass. Great balance between each string, the G doesn't zing as with some brands. Not expensive, too. Prefer them to R. Cocco I've been using.
