1. Sorry Guys SOLD PENDING PAYMENT Thanks to all who've expressed an interest and offered trades etc, some really intereting offers, but cash wins the day !! Can't recall selling anything on here with such a huge response ! ATB Mark
2. Owned both...... used them both with a DB750 live and the GS410's with a DB680/DB728 (see avatar) The DB410 is too thick and lumpy (for my taste) with the Aggie amps..... GS410 is a better live solution at volume Mark
3. Bump for a really nice instrument

10. Guys, Beautiful USA 75 Re-issue Jazz Bass in rare factory Sunburst (totally original with lovely brown leather look case) Made in 1999 (first year of production when they did a couple of finishes other than the Natural) The bass itself is a really nice example which plays sounds and sets up perfectly.... Anyone who knows me knows I don't buy anything other than the best examples of Fenders I've learnt a lot about what a good Jazz bass looks & feels like (from buying some dogs) and this one is from the top draw. I had the advantage of an extended trial with this instrument prior to purchase, so be assured from that it's a belter !!! The bass being 11 years old is starting to gain some MoJo in it's own right, not that it's worn or anything, far from it, it's in superb condition with only a couple of little knocks, but the maple board and neck has a lovely aged patina to it which just looks superb with the sunburst and black blocks. As far as price is concerned it's £800 firm SOLD PENDING PAYMENT I may be persuaded to take a Squier VMJ or CV - but not really interested in PX as I'm selling to fund the next stage of a custom build PM any questions or give me a call 07818 044187 Located North East ATB Mark
11. I've got a USA 75 Re-issue..... My only bass ! It's from 1998 where they did finishes other than Natural - This ones a Sunburst/Maple/Black block & bound It's got a 1 piece body (bit unusual) and is built really well (custom shop standard) Weight is on the lighter side of the Fender Jazz spectrum Sounds like a good 70's jazz should and set up perfectly..... Being 12 years old it's starting to get some "vintageness" of it's own and has a lovely aged look to the maple neck & board Job done !

gone

I turned up to a gig once where backline was provided to find a line 6 150W combo waiting for me...... !! I pulled our Mackie SRM450's out of the van and used them as backline driven by an Ampeg Valve DI box Sounded very acceptable on the night although they cut out during the 2nd set (Thermal fuse thing) for a couple of mins ( I turned the drummers fan onto the heat sinks..... job done) ATB Mark
13. The Markbass CMD112p will take some beating in the size/vol stakes I played through one recently and all I can say is WOW !!! (I don't WOW easily)

17. The pickups are fine in the Miller (USA) Rip that 50c pre-amp out and install an Aguilar OBP1
18. Guys..... I tried this set-up a couple of days ago (as well as the 2x12 iso neo) I was astonished at how good it was and the volume capability for a small box..... I've heard it said by the speaker Guru's (Bill & Alex) that the Isobaric design concept is flawed..... I remember the Linn Sara & Isobarik Hifi speakers of the 80's packing one hell of a punch (I would have heard Miller, Jaco, Clarke et al for the first time on a Naim Audio driven Linn Isobarik ststem) Sure the design makes them inefficient.... (The Linn speakers were a tough load which is one of the reasons they were so often partnered with the mega stable Naim power amps) but with a good 500w into a 2x10 (I believe the Terror bass has switchable impedence) it kicks out some volume !! I think Orange have got it right..... Updating the Isobaric design with neo technology and mating it with a clean and powerful class D output stage with valve drive pre !! The future does indeed look bright !!
19. Guys.... An IP112 stack is top of my amp shopping list just now I've got to hear one along side a TC450 RS210/RS212
