5. Hi Guys, I've never ever put a "Feeler" on here but there is potentially a cab going that i'd like and I'd need to move my pair of Aguilar 112's to fund it They're in pretty much Mint condition as they've been in their covers all the time except when they've been used.... I've never gigged them or even used them in a rehearsal but I can tell you these little buggers Kick it out big time !!! I purchased them lightly used a couple of months ago, they're just over a year old in total.... and well looked after. With covers, I'm after £450 collected from the North East If the cab i'm after sells then i'll have to withdraw them......... So don't hang around !!! I'll get some pics up at the weekend but i'm pretty sure everyone knows what they look like All The Best Mark
6. Guys........ I'm tellin ya' Jump on this, This is the best Jazz Bass i've played below a good (and I mean a GOOD) USA The EMG's give it a super clear Jazz tone live..... NOTHING at £200 is going to come vaguely close to this instrument !! I asked the "FunkyFrodo" for first refusal if he ever sold it and I had to turn it down as i've just asked Bass-Doc to finish my 92 Longhorn in White !! I only sold this Bass to part fund my DB750 Bargain Bargain Bargain !!!
7. Bump for a cracking Ray..... wish I had a reason to buy it back !
8.
Gone from Ebay .. So did a BC'r get it?
I hope so..... but Fender are on a mission with John's Guitars, they tend to contact Ebay when they're up for auction !
9.
It looks like it's been slashed by a tiger. With blunt claws.
Good job Jaco didn't play a Warwick

12. For obvious economic reasons there are massive bargains to be had on a 2-3 year old decent motor...... Wind forward a couple of years 2-3 year old motors will be rare as hen's teeth due to nobody buying new cars now..... Supply and demand dictates 2nd hand prices will be strong at that point... On that basis now is a great time to pick up a used bargain and should also be a good time to buy new in the full expectation of strong residuals in 3 years Having said that...... I'm not an economist (although I do have A Level Economics)
13. It's not that up to date...... VAT is 15% !!!
14. I've had 2 of the G2 units...... excellent
15.
I misread that as 'ever' and was sooo confused for a bit Mark. Didn't know you was a Wal man Chris, Fenders history then?
I wish I had only EVER owned a WAL..... would have saved me a fortune I played one at Overwater, It was Fantastic they took it in as a deposit for a custom build, They only wanted a grand for it and I passed it up !! This one here looks like a beautiful example...... I'm sure it won't be around long !!
16.
And boy have you owned a few mate Agreed on the status of Wals though. Should add to this thread that I bought my fretless Wal from Steve (Sercet), he's a top bloke and I can recomend him as someone to do business with. Mark, been a while since we've traded, what have you got at the moment! Chris
Hey Up Chap..... I've got a Sadowsky UV70 (Natural Ash Maple Blocks) knocks ya socks off !! lovely example. Also got a Fender Jazz Longhorn (22 Fret) getting sprayed up in white with Torti guard. Howard (Bass-Doc) made a body in lovely lightweight Tulip wood. Big Acoustic Sound, it's got a Badass and a J Retro should have it any time now.... I've put a fair bit into my Rig recently now have an Aguilar DB750 a pair of GS112's and a GS115 - And No Gig !!!
17.
What happens if you own a Rolls Royce phantom? Potential 1/10 bass budget of £35,000?
Custom Alembic (in the current exchange rate) The Rolls Royce of Bass Guitars....
18. I'd love the 412, but think until i'm in a band my pair of 112's will suffice...... Get into the sound of 12's it's the future !! (or is it the past - hard to tell)
19. Lovely Bravewood Jazz with wider nut for my stupidly large hands, my perfect Bass !! Good luck with the sale
20. Cracking Example......... this is the best Stingray i've owned (there have been many) Paul's a great lad to deal with too..... Buy with confidence all round Mark
21.
That's a great looking Wal, all the best with the sale. Is it only me that sees a Wal and my mind strays to the word Overwater? Probably due to the exposed core on top of the body.
I see what you mean...... but to quote a Meerkat friend of mine..... "Don't even sound same" a WAL is about the only decent bass i've never owned !!
22. Gave up buying it ages ago....... Rubbish !!
23. Hi Guys, The DB750 has been replaced with the DB751, more tone shaping and cheaper !! Is it win win and a good upgrade to classic amp or a DB750 on a budget ? Has the "built regardless of cost" ethic been compromised with with Amp..... ? What's your views ?
24.
+1 - I can't imagine what could possibly replace a DB750 (other than maybe a DB751...a few weeks wait on that but I'm not convinced it can be so much of an improvement)
Cheap version of a 750 built to a budget, despite protests to the contrary, it's basically the pre-amp stage from the AG500 - great pre-amp that it is, the 750's topology is about as good as it gets. the 750 will become a genuine classic I think....
25.
Sorry for messing about but ive been talked down by other DB750 users!...i think the answer to my tone problems is different cabs..Many thanks for any enquires Geoff
Good decision Geoff !!
