Just had a John East 'flat response' pre amp fitted (£207) and the whole bass benefits from a pro strip down clean & polish and new pick guard & pickup screws fitted so it's spanking. Just had frets dressed & polished and set up with new Daddario 40-100's. Very resonant instrument that plays superbly well. The East Pre really opens up the sound and provides infinite tonal palette in conjunction with the Precision and Humbucker. Cracking Bass. Priced to sell at £600 collected from Sunderland. Guys, I have a gorgeous USA Precision Deluxe from 1998 for sale in great condition. This is the one with the Precision / Humbucker layout Ash body with Maple Board (abalone dots) the bass benefits from a recently fitted John East 'Flat Response' pre-amp (£207) which is such a HUGE upgrade over the stock fender unit. Every tone in the book and a very resonant & lively instrument. Sets up beautifully as low a you like and has recently had a fret polish. This Bass was £1100 new in 1998 !!
