  1. Don’t suppose you get South West way (Devon) ?
  2. Awesome pedal!
  3. Could try BTNMusic.co.uk - they’re my go to.
  4. Digging the Sadowsky onboard jazz preamp!

  5. I road tested one of these at Bristol PMT yesterday. Lovely feel, nice and lightweight and a real joy to look at - beautiful! Here’s the but….the tone left me a bit underwhelmed to be honest - mostly a bit thin and one large fat vibe, very little in between. Shame really, but that was my own opinion - I’m sure others may assess differently. I came away loving my recent purchase of a lightweight Zon Legacy even more.
  6. What nasty people there are around to create such sophisticated scams, disgusting.
  7. Bought from here earlier this year, and regardless if seen as sales talk, I am genuinely gutted to move this on but a recent purchase of a bass I've lusted after for many years means a few bits of equipment will be going to balance the books a bit. Fantastic bass - probably my favourite jazz bass to date , lightweight due to the TCS (tone Chamber system), low action, sounds great from Marcus Miller Slap to Family man dub, Delano pickups. Excelent condition. Origninal sale add , youtube info here.

  8. Ah bugger wrong end of the country! If you’re passing Devon way think I’d have that 4x10 😉

I'd love to have a Zon. Played one a while back and it was ace. Price tag was more than I was prepared to pay. One day maybe. Enjoy.

I very much regret not buying the Legacy Elite 5 string I saw advertised for £1250 many years ago :(

Well it arrived today and not Friday - what a beaut! 39EF51F7-92BF-4AB6-B418-73FD374399D3.thumb.jpeg.bfed784cc348810e46fb12d524d726a0.jpeg

  10. Cheers, Would you sell the tonerider and pots on their own?
  11. I’d be interested in the pickup and electronics if you sell separately ? Also wondering if the Schallers would fit my Sire v3. Do you know the model? Cheers
  12. Local to Plymouth - check Lightweight bass - check Have an Elf on the shelf - check Fancy a maple P - Check Oh…and I’m an Aquarius too! PM’d 😂
  13. Yup, my first thoughts too for rock.
  14. Yeah, the weight has always been my biggest issue for me with Sire, mainly the V7 at 10.5lbs.
  15. Sorry the late reply - it didn't come with a wiring diagram unfortunately. I have wired as per the previous wiring and know may way around the wiring a bit. They are A pots, and whilst now sounding a little better than previous, I'm still not overly impressed. I've emailed the eBay seller - yet to hear back from them. The tone appears to be the main issue now - whilst acting more like a tone pot now there is a significant volume drop when all the way down. I know this happens to a certain extent but I've not had a P where the volume has dropped this significantly. Kicking myself for not having bought a Kiogon now 😂
  16. Bought a 70’s P electrics kit off eBay to replace my crackling 74 pots. Bit of an oddity on the new kit - volume tapers off super quick - bit like an on/off and the tone is like a volume - no tone change. Very weird! Any thoughts? I’ve checked all the earths etc, all seem in check.
  17. I guess it depends on the gig, genre but this would cover most…prefer 15”s for a bit of reggae though. Despite trying differing brands over the years I always come back to the simple Markbass Traveller 2x10”.
  18. Jammed mine tonight, 74 P + Elf + TC208 cab, sweet as extra sugary sweets 😎
