Looks lovely, unusual to see one with the PG. Now that's not a regular Lak PG, did you mod a Stingray one yourself? Regards Mike Edit: Just read the first post
No i bought it from a luthier in the USA who custom machined it, i believe you can purchase them now from the USA also if you hunt around (although America is pretty big) - Glad you like it. The pickguard is of course removable if not to your tastes...but i like it lots!

Hi Folks, Does anyone know of a transcription service at all??? I used to use a guy by sending him an Mp3 and then usually paying around £10 per tune ( most often simple reggae/ ska stuff), anyhow this geeza recently agreed to do some tunes for me so i paid him £30 for 3 tunes and he's disappeared of the face of the earth with my money (pikey!)-Not an irie bass brethren at all!. Don't get me wrong, when i can find time i do work stuff out by ear, infact most of the time, but my job is very demanding these days on my time and as i play with a covers band that turns out tunes like a capitalists whipping production line i struggle to keep up and having music/tabs is much quicker.....so anyone up for a quick dollar for a few simple reggae/ska lines give me a PM (no pikeys please!)
The other thing is I'd need a van with a tail lift for a 55KG cab! Just carting around my extremely lightweight Neo after a practice session nearly polished me off yesterday. Well good luck. It looks awesome, I've played the 4X10 / 1X15 combination and it's good, it's a fantastic price, so anyone who has the ability to move it around won't be disappointed.
I'm very interested and based in Plymouth...so bonus....email me a phone number on
You dont need to do no ting. All yo need is connect 1 4ohm 4x10 to 1 4ohm output, and another 4ohm 4x10 to de udder 4ohm output. Job done and roll one IRIE. Never thought of 4x10's as reggae cabs.
Gwan blaze dem fyah.... Yes dready, most major players backing Sizzla, Capleton, Luciano etc are using the fridge (Ampeg 8x10)...I was fortunate to briefly meet and see familymans rig last year at Lanhydrock (makes a good alternative lyric on trench town rock btw) and he was using an eden 4x10 and ampeg 15" and an Eden WT800 bit like mine...a lot of the old school used to use the 18" and 15" but perhaps as much as 90% of modern players are using the Ampeg 8x10 nowadays with Familyman being the main exception....but then if it sounds good who cares, my 4x10 on its own is nice but i need a bit more air for the larger venues and stuff ....but most of our sound goes through our 11K sound sys anyhow and that only ever runs at about half for most clubs/venues etc. So to keep up with our drummer (Roland TD20 or something top of the range electric banger type thing) as its his sounds sys i need a bit more air on the backline....if you can't feel the riddim of the bass in the belly then well.....plus i kinda like it myself too....irie fe sure!
