  1. Yes. Thanks for the positive comments guys, this snow queen beauty is definitely worth the compliments.
  2. This beauty is now SOLD....next up the Sabre 😱 Excellent condition, low action, jazz width neck with bound & blocks, lightweight - i think 8.4lbs rings a bell but will check for sure, Lakland Pickups, ...and well simply sounds, plays and looks beautiful - whoever buys will be very happy. Spec: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=lakland+44-64+PJ Happy to courier at cost to buyer or collect from Plymouth.
  3. Hi guys, let’s me know if either of you want the mini Mac, no problems if not, otherwise I’ll be putting it to evilbay & Facebook tomorrow 😊
  4. Pics of Mac, apple keys and apple mouse - Few extra bits, Belkin USB/Firewire extender, logic keyboard cover, adapters for two monitors...and I'm sure I'll find other bits to throw in from my cables draws.
  5. Shizzle, only just seen your post mate. I’ll sort some pics tomorrow eve if ok 😊
  6. Might be selling my Lakland P/J, pretty much mint. Don’t want to sell but having a bit of a house tenovation at the mo. Fits the bill totally, white & tort...I love it 😍
  7. Yeah it’s pretty decent spec and outlived 3 Apple laptops for reliability. Surpringly fast with the SSD. I’ve got some odds & sods to go with it too. Wish I had more time but children, stressful social work day job, and terminal tinitis having joined my first rock band means I don’t get time at all these days...may return to studio land in several years though. Decent setup this lot.
  8. My band plays Slither, goes down well if the grooves tight 😊
  9. Yup definitely worth more in parts alone. Lots of interest in the neck but I’m hoping to sell as is. It’s a bargain really as I’d be wanting £120 for the neck alone.
  10. Haha, my apols not from you then. I’ve had it a while. Yes great bass but I’m trying to slim down the collection at the moment. Totally agree, cracking bass for the money and with extras worth a lot more 😊
  11. Quite possibly. Your not the one who used a urine ridden post festival tent as packing are you? If so it took me days to de fumigate my conservatory following 3 days of totally stripping and cleaning the bass thoroughly. Despite that it turned out to be a lovely bass, especially with the Aguilar fitted.
  12. Bargain £150 with original pickup fitted, or £180 with the Aguilar pick up 😊
  13. I've got the Cort GB5 Custom and love it to bits - just wish i had an opportunity to use it a bit more. Seymour QP pickups and I put a John East in mine and it really sings, brilliant B string on a 34"scale and a truly lovely neck...so much so i sold the Lakland 5 which has always been my goto 5. Most Corts are top notch IMO.
  14. A combination of a failed band project a while back and simply not having time for the mancave studio (not been able to get near it for the last 6months until now) means i am going to reclaim some home space for my children and sell off my studio gear: 1)SOLD Apple Mini Mac late 2009, upgraded 256GB SSD, 8GB Ram, reset to fresh El Capitian OSX 10.11.6 and my legit latest Logic X downloaded with all Apple loops. Apple Mouse and keyboard included with logic shortcuts cover. All cables included, and probably many more bonuses as I do the clear out. £180 (if collected happy to throw in the 2 monitors although they're not the best LG) 2) 2 x Mackie Mk3 MR6 - Barely used, think i still have the boxes in the loft - probably best collected from Plymouth due to weight but happy to post if buyer covers costs - £180 £180 collected ideally. 3) SOLD Zoom R24 sound card 8in/2out USB, sampler, portable recorder, and control surface (works great with controlling the faders and recording etc on logic X). Not sure if a channel is dodgy (i think 6) as i had a problems when using this portable connected to my newer Macbook Pro yet it works absolutely fine with the minimac - possible driver issue perhaps, or dodgy muso at that particular recording session. Anyhow comes with Zoom bag, SD card, manual, and PSU...and i think i've got a 8 ways mono to mono snake i'll throw in - £140 SOLD posted in the UK. Mackies & Minimac £300 collected I'm sure there will be more stuff added as i clear out.
  15. ON HOLD Having a clear out and it's time to move on the lounge bass, if not sold as is then I may part out (PM if interested) - Price is reduced to £150not £200 Lets start with the good bits: Very nice Lakland jazz width neck, plays great, not hipshot but similar style tuners. Seymour Duncan Quarter pounder pick up. Varitone control (switches to different tones, quite handy). Flea neck plate. Perfect lightweight at 7.4lbs The not so good bits: Indent on fret board, 4th fret G-string - don't be put off though as to be honest it does not effect the play ability at all, probably fixable but it never bothered me - see pic. The pick-guard cavity is larger that the pick-guard holes by the controls so have used long screws to the wood. The string thru is a bit messy on the rear but functions. The Lakland neck is 62mm heal, whereas the body is 64.5mm therefore there are side gaps between the neck and body. With all the above said it plays really nice with a low action and I have gigged this bass a few times and really enjoyed it - especially the weight, great tones to be had with the varitone and with a fast jazz width neck on a precision style bass..... whats not to like?! £180 seems a good price to me, + £20 postage in the UK or collection from Plymouth. Shipping is likely to be more if overseas.
  16. SOLD Surplus to requirements and having a bit of a clear out. Lovely 2x10", only used several times at small gigs. Comes with padded hot covers cab cover. Specs here: http://www.markbass.it/product-detail/traveler-102p/ Collection from Plymouth or post for extra £25 in the UK. Will cost more if outside the UK.
  17. Probably my favourite tune ever.....
  18. A signature model eh?....bet Flea is livid 😂
