  1. Bargain!
  2. Oh yes indeed! Although this is a Big Twin but gather they’re similar. Dare I use that expression ‘tone nirvana’ and not in a Kurt way, although pretty sure it would cover that sound too. It’s a very versatile setup which is what I was seeking as I need something that would do most of the typical genres but also not struggle with a warm deep low end. I’m really happy with both the amp and cab combination.
  3. Got a Tecamp Puma 900 from Bass Bro a few weeks back. As already been said they truly are great amps. Your Eich will be awesome.
  4. Shaking the foundations here in Plymouth-does everything I need too. Lovely to meet you too 😊
  5. Yes loving the Tecamp, soooo much power too.
  6. Definitely hits the mark! ❤️💛💚
  7. Bought @Stealth ‘s Barefaced Big Twin and no surprise I’m bloody loving it! What a truly great tone. Running it with a Tecamp Puma 900 and it is sweet as! Lovely vibes with my pimped Chinese Tesco Express.
  8. Favourite Eden WT550 - Loud, 2ohm flexibility, great eq, phat warm defined tone. Second - Orange Terror Bass - Not the best Eq but loud, great core tone and brilliant customer service And my new kid on the block, Tecamp Puma 900 - just brilliant pure tone, loud and stylish. Loving this amp and enjoyed gigging it recently.
  9. I am indeed but need a specific cab for a specific job.....this could be the cab to kill them all followed by my Orange rig then going up for sale if it fits the bill 😆
  10. £250 anyone? Got to be a bargain - also happy to meet on the M5 too for a bit of fuel monies.
  11. Recently bought some Hipshot tuners off Lozz. Top reliable Basschatter so absolutely no qualms here 😎
  12. Sweet all rounder really. Not done any specific reggae music with this but have tried it a home and it has that belly wobble effect 😂
  13. Still thinning the herd on amps and cabs making this lovely rig up for sale. Really nice defined overall loud sound from the 2 x15" speakers, has the footswitch for the built in overdrive, decent built in compressor too. The combo is in excellent condition and never gigged, just the odd practice. The 15" extension combo i bought used and had a speaker upgraded from the previous owner, both sound great together and are a one hand carry. Both combo and cab have covers also. All in all a great Ashdown gigging/ touring rig for not a lot of money. Will split if interested and happy to discuss courier options. This is a mk2 spec here https://ashdownmusic.com/products/rm-c115t-500-evo-ii-combo - pretty much the same albeit they changed the mirror back face on the Mk2 and shed a kilo of weight i believe.
  14. Sadowsky Metroexpress from the stock sale on Thomann…absolutely brilliant!
  15. Great classy Darkglass cab, nice, very lightweight and a tight lovely sound. Excellent condition, 500 w and 8 ohm. Has a nice cab cover with internal furry lining. Could courier at cost otherwise collection from Plymouth. Cheers.
  16. I love this bass soooo much, since fitted my VTC pre, scored some Villex pickups and got a tort (ish) guard on it. Plays and sounds great.
  17. Really good these, I have some and am really impressed! GLWTS.
  18. Big Eden fan here! Many amps come and go but the Eden WT550 surpasses them all 😁
  19. Looks stunning, love the wrap too. What’s the weight like on the 5’s ?
  20. …ahh, the Sue Ryder still rules 😂
  21. Furthering the cull of my heavier basses, this beauty is 9.7lbs and is causing me back pain unlike my lighter basses. A bit gutted as this bass looks and sounds great and is far too nice to live in my home studio only (got my beater P for that!) - it needs to be out to breath with the loads of tonal flexibility. This bass is also pretty much immaculate, only been used for a handful of times. Plays beautifully with an unusual combination of a rosewood/cherry fret board and a bit of Birdseye throughout too - a classy bass. F/S £300 collected F/T Looking for a Class D Amp of at least 700Watts + ( i need the headroom for a reggae project), preference for a more hifi modern type - could add around £300 ish to upgrade i.e. Genzler, Darkglass etc, or a Darkglass D112N cab. Typical G&L blurb: When Leo Fender† launched the G&L L•2000 bass in 1980, it was clear he was ready to make history all over again. Never before had such a wide range of tones come from a single bass, and throughout its evolution the iconic L•2000 has continued to win the hearts of bassists of every style and musical taste. The foundation of the L•2000 is a pair of G&L Magnetic Field Design humbuckers backed by the flexible Tri-Tone control system,* providing the sort of versatility that’ll let you find your tone no matter what kind of bass line you’re laying down. The Tri-Tone system features a trio of mini toggles for pickup selection, series/parallel signal routing and active/passive operation, as well as a trio of knobs for volume, treble and bass. With all that under the hood, Leo gave the L•2000 the kind of chops that’ll fit in any situation, from classic R&B to power-packed rock to poppin’ funk. What’s more, the L•2000 features an innovative Leo Fender-designed Saddle-Lock bridge to transfer string energy right into the body end-grain for an incredibly resonant instrument. The Tribute® Series L•2000 delivers the magic of Leo’s revolutionary bass at a price attainable for every working musician. Once you play a G&L Tribute Series, you’ll never look back.
