  3. Barely used and an excellent sounding Markbass Little Marcus combo, taken in a recent part trade with a plan to move on (eventually ). Better handles since fitted, including a side handle making this light combo an absolute breeze one hand carry. And it is loud, very loud!.....oh and lighter than a Traveller 2x10"! ! Perfect solution for someone out there. Official Markbass Info: https://www.markbass.it/product/marcus-miller-cmd-102-250/ Bargain at £400, happy to courier at cost and risk to buyer or collection from Plymouth. Would possibly trade for a Darkglass 1 x12" cab to go with my current one.

  4. I think maybe trying a Class A/B amp over a class D may get you there. I tried both my Markbass LMT head & Eden WT550 into some Markbass cabs. The difference was hugely clear, thud, heft, warmth from the Eden. The Markbass was ‘ok’ but definitely didn’t have the secret sauce of the weighty Eden head.

    Eden WT400

The WT Eden amps are like the Rolls Royce of amps in my view. Just a great classy full sound, something I never got from the many class D amps I’ve owned. That said I’ve got the WTX500 too and even that’s got a lovely warm tone. Complete with the WT speaker it weighs a ton…but sounds phenomenal!
  6. Will they sound anything like a Ray’ though 😂
  7. My mistake, thanks. It is the 8S model.
  8. Selling these surplus 4 string Precision bass pick ups, price includes postage or collect from Plymouth: Sadowsky Precision, specs: Sadowsky Spec - Defined, great upper mids, pretty awesome . £65 SD quarter pounder, NOW SOLD
  9. Will be putting out to FB land soon. Get in there before the dreaming Hyenas attack 😳
  10. SOLD Now that i've bought my dream Stingray, this bass is for sale only to balance up the credit card. This truly is a top drawer Spector, a beautiful neck through based on the 1977 model with a few modern helpful tweaks. It really is a great bass, which i wish i could afford to keep but needs must. Although the pic shows a Sadowsky pickup/Pre it is now returned as stock with the Dimarzio model P and the adjustable Spector Tonepump Pre (Bass & Treble). It’s also nice and light at only 8.4lbs, has a brass nut, strap locks, Spector gig bag and is overall in excellent. Good video of someone else playing one of these - Bargain @ £1000, happy to parcel up but buyer is organize courier.
  11. Awesome basses! Great B strings on these 34” scale basses too.
  12. Modern day Tik Tok Whamageddon phenomenon….whatever that all means 🤓
  13. Brilliant amps! Wish I could get the bag for mine.
  14. What pickups are in these?
  15. Whats the weight like Andy ? ****scrap that, the idiot in me just spotted the 9lbs ****
  16. True story - I occasionally dep with a local functions band i used to play with for several years. The mainstay drummer is a lovely chap and excellent well known drummer in these Devon areas. He noticed me gigging a Squier CV jazz at a dep gig earlier this year. He asked something along the lines of 'what happened to that beautiful 70's P bass? ' (which incidentally was actually a Limelight P that i used a lot in the functions band). I told him i eventually sold it to which he replied with a cheeky grin 'i can tell times are hard gigging a Squier'. Now of course I gave him the usual spiel of how great CV's were and Squier being a lot better these days....but nonetheless i felt briefly judged for not having name on the headstock...i was amused though.
  17. Now on FB marketplace - Collection is very much preferred from Plymouth UK but happy to look at couriers at cost to the buyer. I will be in Birmingham 24-27th Dec so traveling M5 from Devon 24th and Birmingham to Bournemouth M40, A34 around the 27th if of any help. 4x10 now gone
  18. Pretty confident these basses need little introduction. I bought this beauty before the Thomann deals that witnessed a Basschat frenzy in buying these up...i think simply because they're very excellent basses....in my view probably the best basses Squier have released to date! I paid a bit more than the Thomann prices from Peach guitars early in July this year, quite a bit more in fact as i had the bass plekked also, making this bass very much perfect. Selling as i have another P incoming with a preferred Jazz width neck and its a bit of a Xmas present upgrade from the Mrs This bass is in excellent condition and looks stunning - couldn't find a mark on it, plays amazingly smooth, sounds fantastic (Tone is very effective across the spectrum), and weights only 8.1lbs making it easy on the back. I am sure the buyer will be very contented. £250 + postage , happy to courier at cost around £20 ish, £40 ish if wanting insure (wifey is legendary at her packing!).
