Ahh, have found a place that does the Markbass tweeter attenuator - best case scenario 😊

Hello! I’m on my first 2x10” build, donor Markbass cab traveller cab and 2 x Green label Celestion speakers - BLX10’s both 8ohm to make a 4 ohm cab. I have a studio spare tweeter I’d like to use, 8 ohm 50 watt - I think off the top of my head. I am ideally looking for a readymade back plate with speakon/jacks and attached crossover with a variable tweeter. Can such a thing be purchased? Any links? Thanks in advance 😊

2 control plates, all complete with knobs and both use Alpha pots - standard fender fit. The concentric will need to be soldered whereas the standard control is the easy screw type (hence thinking this is Kiogon's excellent work....for the life of me i can't remember where i got this from). ALL SOLD Price included UK postage.

Always typically late to the party but i got a mid 80's BB1100 at the weekend in a part trade. This is my first venture into the world of vintage BB1100's and am really impressed so far, weight's not too bad either at 8.5lbs - i was expecting it to weigh more for some reason. Took it do a 'Dad rock' rehearsal yesterday and it played really well, more so on the P pickup in passive, cut through really nicely - think this may make a great work horse until i get bored. A few Q's - i'm assuming it's a Taiwan model but how do you tell if it's Jap or Taiwan? i can't see any serial numbers externally, Also mine has a schaller 3d bridge and tuners - assuming these must be upgrades? although can't see any extra holes and they do look quite old - functions great. Looks a like a BT1 Hipshop d-tuner as the tuners do look very similar to that of past MM Stingrays that i've owned - anyone ever fitted a D-tuner to theirs? .

Since getting an Eden WTX264 for the living room rig my Bam has been redundant and is clearly too good to be gathering dust, so have decided to let it go. Pics to follow and I still have the original box. £110 gets it posted in the UK or collect from Plymouth. Would trade towards an Eden WTX 500 or a 2x8” cab. Cheers 😊

An opportunity to get a bass I've been wanting for a while has since come up elsewhere so i am re-selling this recent purchase from here. It really is another great example from Fender that needs very little introduction on Basschat. So glad I've tried one and sad to see it go as they are quite special indeed but Mrs Raslee is watching the 'music budget' like a hawk with a looming holiday......you know how it is I had put a mint green pickguard on to match my P bass, this can be included in the deal as well as the tort guard. Overall in excellent 'roadworn' condiiton, very lightweight at only 8lbs, low action, superb tone. I will also throw in an excellent Gigbag, the amazing Slick bag! slight stitching loose but nothing that effects it functionality - loads of compartments. Collect Plymouth, or happy to discuss courier - approx £20 in the UK, likely to be more if abroad.

Happy transaction with Rob for a bass. All good! Basschatters can deal with in confidence.

The one in, one out policy is very strong with Mrs Raslee currently due to saving so this one is very sadly up for sale due to another purchase. Admittedly I would easily be keeping this bass and selling something else if it wasn't on the heavier side for my stupidly sensitive glass back, but at at 9.2lbs it is not a boat anchor by any means, rather all my basses are now less than 8.2lbs and i have become accustomed to that - all with comfort straps! When i got this bass i felt this was the bargain of the century - this is 'super jazz' territory! The sound, the quality, just simply everything about this bass really is spot on (see the previous F/S add) and i've owned many high end jazzes to compare. As aforementioned though, the weight for me just ain't happening, which means it's unlikely to get the use it really deserves. So i am confident whoever buys this will be equally as happy with their bargain. What i do also really like is the passive setting (passive tone too), which is perfectly matched with the active when flat, just add the active for taste - the sounds range from a nice clean modern to vintage warm 60's tones. I've priced it at £500 due to the addition of the D-tuner but would be happy to remove this and sell at the original B/c price which i got it for of £450 which is ludicrously cheap for a bass of this high standard....definitely one of my favourite jazzes owned to date and will be sad to see this one go! Hope @RhysP you don't mind me using the original add (sorry to sell this one, t'is the beauty you described!) Original sale add here: Collection Plymouth or happy to discuss courier options (around £20 ish in the UK). NO TRADES THANKS.

I’m still gobsmacked on just how good these basses sound and play. I feel no need to upgrade anything. I heard they were good but I’m truly dumbfounded!
