ahahh! so what can i use to muffle the bridge pup? Honky mid sound is not what i want, that's why i turn off the mid eq, want that soft trad DB tone... BUT LOUD

got a pair of Aggie 12's Alex, dont use much mid EQ, maybe that's the problem hey

i'm trying to get better live sound out of this baby... K&K system?

similar experience here with D'Addario Helicore Medium Pizz's, E string has just snapped after a few months, i sent it back around two weeks ago and havn't heard

anyone experienced broken strings on DB? E string has gone on me after a cuppla months at the peg end, it's sort of unravelled around the tuner shaft?? D'Addario Helicores

gonna try both, that should shut him up hey, so i've got a 20ft speakon cable and i just change the polarity on one end?

how does it all work with PA rigs then? all PA systems have seperate LF cabs, i've just got a Shadow pup on my DB, std 1/4 jack, how do i rev the phase on that Alex?

Hi Alex, what's the down side of connecting an extra cab with a 20ft cable? i want to split two cabs either side of the stage, will it damage the amp? it's a couple of Aguilar 12's and an LM2, guitar player cant hear my Double Bass and i cant go any louder thx John

i'm blaming the slip in pitch on the tuners because i cant find another reason for it (slips a semitone or so overnight on ALL strings) is there anything else that would cause that? strings are not new

anyone experienced slipping with Schaller P bass tuners on EUB's? are they really up to the job?

there was a good thread here a while back on DB pickups, can someone point me to it please? or any quickie suggestions on a good pickup, looks like the Shadow SH950 is a good start
