  10. Bumma Bilbo!! i even put some extra light strings on the Stagg and it's still hard work, i am OLD tho which dont help, REALLY wish i'd started on DB years ago
  11. harder to play IMO Bilbo, i tried an upright recently and couldn't believe how much easier it was on my left hand, hence the pending sale of my Stagg, lots of other plus's with the Stagg tho, price, loud, no feedback, looks cool found the Powerballs very good for strengthening up the hand/arm muscles too

KEEP IT!! it'll out perform ANY pension/investment, your kids will reap the rewards and you get the joy of playing one of the BEST basses ever made the tones you can get out of one of those is endless, roll the font and back pup back a tad, same with the tone, great to see all of these still coming out of the woodwork, bet it smells good too...

  17. 'His groove, timing and stamina are amazing' say's it all...... just got back into 'Night Passage' and personally i dont think anyone has taken the instrument past where he left it, some 30 odd years ago i agree he did have some REALLY off days tho

  23. i have an Aria AMB-50BS, with frets removed, properly removed by Luthier, and rubber sound hole bung. has some very nice DAddario light strings same as the one here...
