Updated specs, confirmed from Phil Jones. 800w / 4ohm. Selling as I have two of these and only ever need the one. Used condition, as pictured, but all working as it should. Great punch from these little cabs. A fair weight but the handle and wheels make it easy enough to move around. Non padded Roqsolid cover included. Collection or meet up only. I can deliver within 50 ish miles of me for fuel cost.

Grabbed this medium scale fretless (think it’s been converted to fretless) jazz, with trem from eBay recently. Really great fun, now on a bit of a hunt for a fretted version / or fretted neck to fit. I really like how the body and headstock are slightly smaller too.

Before I start hunting for a programmable bass driver DI, would this be a better option for the price ? Are the tones comparable / available on this? Thanks in advance !

Pedalboard Power Advice (HX Stomp & Sansamp)
MarshallBTB replied to Michael Currie's topic in Effects
Cioks DC7 is the best option for this, you’ll need the current doubler and type 3 (I think … yellow adaptor) leads for the stomp. I use this for a similar set up, and it’s excellent, bomb proof and handy USB out too.- 5 replies

I have two tickets going (people have dropped out) for the Richard Bona trio gig at Jazz Cafe, next Tuesday 14th March 2023. Face value, two for one? £30 for both, can email the e tickets over or meet up at the gig as I will still be going. Would rather they didn't go to waste. Will let them go for free if someone here wants them. Can meet at the venue. Would hate them to go to waste ! thanks !

Modern Vintage MVP-62 Fiesta Red £850 inc UK posted - *SOLD*

Putting this up for sale, as need something else and it’s the one I’m least attached to. Really great version of a 62 P, really nice playable neck with a lovely roasted finish. Owned from new, used for lots of gigs and some recordings and been really pleased with it, great ‘vintage’ tone and a really useable tone control. Well looked after, some minor dings but in very good condition. I shielded the cavity and it’s nice and quiet now too. Nicely set up with LaBella flatwound strings. Would really prefer collection / meet , I do still have the box so will be able to package up send within UK. Happy to answer any questions/take more photos etc. Thanks! Price drop to £850.00 Spec from bass direct : https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Modern_Vintage_MVP-62_Fiesta_Red.html

That’s interesting, and fair enough, but this seems to have many more features, DI out etc. Also a tougher more gig worthy enclosure too. Been put off the plastic B1 stuff as it looks so flimsy. Another reason why I loved the older B3.

https://www.zoom-europe.com/en/zoom-b2-four Features look great! Bit of a wait but will definitely be getting one to try, I always liked the older B3 and this reminds me of that.

Enjoyed doubling up the PJB cabs this weekend, great stage sound. New bass too, local builder, will review eventually.

Does anyone in the UK stock Modern Vintage basses?
MarshallBTB replied to ossyrocks's topic in Bass Guitars
Also had this problem with my P. Sheilded it and it sorted it. The electronics seem on the cheaper end too to be honest for this price point, (licensed tuners over the ‘USA’ hip shots too) especially with the price increase since they first came out. Having said that, I still have mine and it’s sounds and feels great, but not sure I would buy another one over a fender / something pre owned at their current price. -
Just bought an Epiphone EB3 from Bob. Great communication, packed the bass very well and put up with a bit of messing my end sorting out the delivery. Thanks !

Helix Firmware update is now available "The Cab Update"

Decent update, was just about getting bored with the stomp. The OC2 sounds good enough to me too! Finally! -

Had a change of cab for something more compact. Really impressed, especially for the relatively low cost compared to similar output cabs. Winner !
