  6. Hey Mike I've heard you using this and can confirm that this cab sounds amazing 👍 I hope you are getting better and that you'll be out playing soon All the best Martin
  7. just want to say thank you so much, upgraded to to 4,11 via mac yesterday in 10 mins and after a few failed attempts all was good. New presets are a deffo improvement for people looking to plug and play and ditch a keyboard player treading on out territory - particularly the DI presets in, I think bank 3 I got v4 a month ago - not got beyond p40 of the(well written 😁) manual yet or dabbled with editor but very excited about experimenting and learning how to use this and adapt into my set up - currently investigating splitting signal in HX stomp and merging with clean bass tone, which seems to work well for the some of the more extreme sounds. The Di type presets seem better by themselves. My only initial complaint is the inability to easily switch between presets - ok to go up but not easy to go down on the pedal itself? Double click don't work for me = older person, slow! I have a few days off work next week and will be delving into the editor. My only previous synth experience was with a mini moog in the early 90s- I lost a year down a psychedelic rabbit hole. Here I go again...
  8. The TC Impulse loader has a volume control you can adjust and the sample rate is twice as large as on the HX you must get it 😁 I don't think there is a level drop from the IR necessarily - in the HXstomp you can adjust the volume and I left it at zero whilst checking gain stage - more likely something to do with GarageBand settings or something.
  9. Joel bought a pedal from me and is most definitely an outstanding member of our community 👍
  10. Tech 21 Sansamp VT Bass Deluxe £115 posted Range of Ampeg sounds via the character knob It has 2 inputs which is great if you are switching between basses - you can save 3 presets on each of the 2 channels and it has an fx loop https://www.tech21nyc.com/archive/vtbass-deluxe/ The last one from the spares cupboard today... I picked this up on here about 10 years ago, It works fine, it is well used and not pristine condition, hence the lower than usual price I'd possibly trade for the single pedal VT version or the Programmable BDDI

I picked this up on here about 10 years ago in this condition Lots of chips to the paintwork and some of the lettering has disappeared, tatty velcro on the bottom

  18. Hi I got an NXT a few months ago, my first double and love it but will be a while before I gig with it! I use the sigma double bass IR in the HX stomp and would recommend - you can load it into any IR loader. 12 IRs to choose from - I went for the "Mod Bass" and may get one of the others too They will instantly get you in the ball park I also then bought the pack of presents for the stomp which are excellent if a bit fiddly to install and then tweak - studio upright https://www.3sigmaaudio.com/items/category/helix-bass/ The presents are just a starting point and endlessly tweak able but they sound great through headphones and amp - instantly makes it sound more like an acoustic upright to my ears I'd also recommend trying a mute (nino mute) which will deaden the sustain and give more of an acoustic sound
