    HI - according to the Takamine website the preamp is a TK40 but I'm not sure if there's a specific bass version or not....Some reviews mention a TK40B?     Sold my old trace rig purely because of the weight - even the head was a two-handed lift - I still have an old Series 6 1 x 15 combo for old time's sake, though.... Don't like the look of the "new" Trace stuff - proper Trace has to have a UV tube!...... Here's my old rig (and my old headed Status, come to that...)....

    Have a bump and a recommendation from another owner - these are great value for money - I even use mine with the acoustic bass at "unplugged" gigs to hold my own against 2 or 3 acoustic guitars and a snare drum/cymbal combo....

    Right - I've now had enough gigs with different cab combinations to be confident that my new TC rig does all that I require of it (and then some! ) so it's time to turn up the heat on this sale. £500 cash, collected saving me eBay and PayPal fees. If it doesn't go soon, it goes on eBay at a higher price to cover these..... Come on - this rig is a real bargain at £500 and isn't even that big/heavy compared to some Trace monsters!

    Availability of headstock logo seems to depend on age/finish/original order preference/stock of logos/Rob's mood at the time or any or all of the above.... Having said that, I had one put on an old(er!) headed S2 when it went back for some other work and a fine job Rob made of it - it looked as though it had been on there from new when it came back... You pays yer money........
