1. Peavey Microbass - gives you all but the battery power option for under £70 Peavey Microbass Works great as both a practise amp, and to give my basses enough grunt to compete with our band when unplugged/acoustic... Or for another £50, the battery option as well :- Roland Microcube
 2. Just couldn't resist another - photos from a couple of sources - bass should be here in a couple of days :-

You'll need Adobe Reader to open the .pdf files)
 5. Last month's Bass Guitar magazine too....
 6. Don't know about those, but can recommend the Tascam Bass Trainer - especially the MP3 version - does all you want and loads more :- Click Here £100 more than the options above, though ....
 7.
Nice... I'm guessing you may have one or two Level 42 albums in the house.
just a couple - it's a versatile rig, though, not all slap!
 8. My current rig :-
 9. My old, early 80's 1110/GP7 Mk V combo, originally black vinyl, recovered by me in slightly newer old stock green carpet.... (Now sold)
 10.
i tryed that and cannot get it to open on any pc. thanks anyway
Install this :- Adobe Acrobat Reader Then try again - works fine for me!

 12.
Why did James have the GB controller fitted... and then move it on?
Just one word - Retroglide!
 13.
Nice set-up. Watched the YouTube clip - that bass is like a fruit machine doing the special feature gamble!
Fortunately there's 11 settings, including off and "feature hold" (all on) - so you can save the nudge/gamble effect for the encore!
 14. I'm suprised no-one's mentioned www.reverbnation.com yet - not a full website builder, or a social networking page, but there's some nifty tools there, and plug-ins for Facebook, etc. as well.. No techie skills/not much time needed either... http://www.reverbnation.com/thelastmenstanding is our page
 15. Here's mine - The S1 will get treated to Blue FretFX LED's soon - details as per sig :- And a video of James (my S2's previous owner) demoing the SIM's LED's and GB Controller! :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRjiJIVh5iE
 16. Would probably appeal to those who leave the plastic on their car seats and sofas to "keep them nice"....
 17.
Give a headless a go if you’ve never played one – they’re not to everyone’s tastes and it would be sh*t to drop £1k+ on a headless Status and not like it. I played a headless a few years ago and I just couldn’t get on with it. The way it felt was so weird and I found that subconsciously I always felt that I was lower down the fret board than I actually was because there was no headstock, so I always felt out of position (if that makes any sense…it does in my head anyway )
+1 - what he said.... prefer headed.....
 18. Very wide, shallow "stage"...
 19.
Sadly beer crates are harder to find in pubs these days as that was the old fix
I carry a Grolsch crate in the boot of the car for this very reason!
 20.
Click Here - Now on eBay....
Bump - 24 hours left - 17 watchers and no bids - someone's gonna get a bargain......
 21.
You don't happen to work for the BBC. do you? Don't get me started on glasses... any 2-for-1 special offers seem to evaporate when they see me coming. I think they have to tool up specially to make these lenses (-10L -8R)
Ultralase could be your answer - had mine done 18 months ago (from a -6) - best money I've ever spent!
 22. I do hope you weren't fobbed off with the inferior far eastern rose-tinted version.....
 23.
Essex man!
Sarf Laandun born and bred!
 24.
What do you think of the FretFX LED's ??
Great for the money - the red ones on the Washburn have been solid for a couple of years now, and they're much brighter than they look - problem is they're next to a set of Sims magnifiers on the S2! Blue ones on the fretless next, if I decide to keep it....
