1. Arrange with a few BC'ers through PM to deliver it to the person.
2. With all the 'Ignored' messages are you sure the guy is still alive? Does he still post to the BC pages?
3.
Have you thought of contacting your local music college ?
Interestingly my son who is studying performing arts is asking around at his college
4. My band is a Hawkwind Covers / tribute (small t) so i would argue Keys are essential
5. I can empathise.....been looking, asking and posting on different forums for ages. Not easy to find
6. That's a good looking bass and it's tempting me to start a self build 😯
7. Terrible disease.....i hope they can treat it successfully.
8.
Both are a bit too vanilla for my tastes.
I agree about the Ritter but how do you know about Rita? 😉
9. I have been playing finger style recently all the time but it is definitely causing some issues. May have to revert to a plectrum for a while and see if the problem subsides.
10. I'm not sure greenburst should be on the list.....i refer you to JJ Burnel' P-Bass which looks awesome
11.
Outstanding! One day I'll tell you the story of my 76P and show you some pictures...
I've only ever heard the rumours about this legendary bass 😆
12. Having only got my Mexico P a few weeks back i was already very impressed given that sometimes they get a bad QC write up. Anyway tonight i have re-strung it with Rotosound 66' and given it a set up and it is now even better.....☺ I am a happy Precision Appreciation Club member 👍
13. I have a TRBX305 and the pups on that are really powerful and can be adjusted to provide enough treble for my needs. The only issue i had with mine was a bit of a crackle on the treble pot which went away with use. Overall the build on them is superb for the low cost imho. I seem to be able to get quite wide ranging sounds from mine so just wonder if perhaps yours has an electronics issue?
14.
Oh yes. I sold my 76P a few years ago and did the whole merry-go-round GAS thing with P/J basses, Jazz basses, relics, P copies, modern P basses, active basses and on and on and on. Got my 76P back recently and haven't put it down since, I'm exhausted from lack of sleep! So what does that tell you?
I didn't realise you sold your 76P and then got it back.....you haven't mentioned it Hehehe
15. I am just changing my stock P-Bass strings for Rotosound 66' Nickels. I am certain that most manufacturers don't put high quality strings on the new basses from the respective factories. Pretty sure that most instruments have .45-.105's
16.
Those £13 pickguards are OK if you don't get tort (which aren't that bad in themselves anyway). Whatever you do don't get a black pearl though, that would look well tacky! And tort is actually illegal on black, as everyone knows. Parchment or cream is the way forward! Nice bass btw, and a bargain too by the look of it.
You forgot to mention a mirror pickguard 😯
17. Cool looking bass.....glad after the delivery trauma that all is well. Enjoy 😊
18. Earl Grey.....that's tea that tastes like its got perfume in it? Hehe i'm in
19.
No p bass, but I drive this, which I'm pretty sure qualifies me here
I reckon if you lower it you'd definitely qualify
20.
How things change! P-Basses seem to be enjoying a resurgence. Well... they are round at my house, at least...
With P-Basses having a renaissance does that mean they'll become the Burberry of the bass world again?
21. I have one of these for gigs http://stagelegend.com/ Really small, cheap to buy and surprisingly stable.
22. Certainly don't know the 'best' but do know that from entry level up they are very well made and finished and sound good!
23.
I honestly don't care that it's a signature bass. I do like the Sherwood Green Metallic color, CS60's pups, stringing through the body, and the custom C neck. But no, I didn't get it for the signature.
It is without doubt a lovely bass!
24. Carlsbro Stingray?
25. The Men They Couldn't Hang has always bugged me big time 😡
