1. Hello Dartford.....Hellooooo Dartford! Hope they have crowd control in place in case of a surge..... 😉
2. I seem to remember buying the Toy Dolls Nellie the Elephant in 82' and the b side was Fisticuffs in Frederick St.....which i loved!
3. There is very little i won't listen too but Opera does my head in! I have been listening to a lot Buddy Rich's band from the mid to late 70's recently. At the other end of the spectrum i like doom metal as well lol.
4. Seen it and it's a very good show. I get exactly what you mean. From another Maiden fan
5. Nice one 👍 Give us a report back after rehearsals
6. They are lovely looking basses however the AC Signature link imo may put some off.
7. Mint green
8.
I was looking at that only t'other day. It's less than 19kg... also, Peavey have a rep for reliability. But we seem to have wandered off topic, so maybe this should be done elsewhere.
I reckon you should try one 😆 Oh and i have really bonded with my new MIM P Bass but my back up is my Gretsch cheapy shorty G2220 😊
9. Might have some of this but the O2 in London isn't the best venue imo.
10.
It's yet to enter a venue. I'm still waiting on 4 speakers that should arrive next week sometime. The depth is right for a basic doorway, but I think the only problem will be a corner staircase?
You should be able to get it into the Underworld but i can think of a few venues where you may struggle.
11. I wonder how many LL's / Venues adhere to the PRS codes of practice? 😉
12.
!00 valve watts is more than adequate for bass in most situations. I had a Burman 100-watter and it was incredibly loud. I only ever had the volume up around 9 o'clock and this in a rock band with a silly loud guitarist and drummer.
Have you seen the Peavey Valveking II 100w head on the Gear4Music website.....dunno how heavy it is but at £299 quite a lot of amp for that money
13. I love that every instrument you ever buy comes with its own foibles that you only discover over time playing it.....those small imperfections imo endear you to particular basses.
14. 51m0n, I wish i understood a word you have posted.....but alas i don't But if you're constructing something that does this then Wahey!
15. You could ask him back and suggest he brings a guitar this time.....🎸
16.
No, but YOU suggest it to him.
It's a fair point.....😨
17. Am i the only one that would like to see Lemmy playing a bass that colour? 😃
18. So are you going to call him? 😆
19.
Hi, I'm in a rock band and we play within a musical soundscape. It would be good to accompany this with changing projected imagery. Can someone suggest the basic kit needed to start?
I'm interested in this too. For instance can i use my Android tablet connected to a projector?
20. Hawkwind tribute, well not a exact match - Spirit of the Age
21. Do they make an 8x15 cab?
22.
They probably haven't got too much time for piddling crap like this when they're concentrating on not going out of business and such...
Perhaps they were worried about a Warranty claim dating back to 76' 😆
23. Well that's a helpful response.....haha 😐
24. I have a BC Rich Coffin Case which i put my 5 string in.....Mrs 6 will never find that bass as she has an absolute phobia of anything remotely coffin shaped.....Bwahaha 👹
25. J&D are really good imho and get really good reviews too.
