Whenever i feel i am being dictated too there is an urge to revolt and agitate so for me democracy suits.

I really wish i'd put much more effort into learning when i first started playing. I really have only amounted to a very rudimentary bass player and certainly not a musician. I suppose you're never too old to learn and i'm more than willing to put in some time and effort so perhaps i will still improve.

I am considering buying a new Fender but am undecided what to go for. I used to own a very early Squier Jazz which was very good but think maybe a Precision now.....however reading across all of BC the quality can be variable so don't want to waste my hard earned if i will have QC issues.

I have a Yamaha TRBX305.....very good quality under £300 active circuitry with powerful pups. Really worth the money imo. Loads of different tones and sounds too.

I've just fitted a Hipshot Vintage and i'm very impressed.
