I think with this being a UK forum that it's vitally important that we are jingoistic in our approach to anyone trying to 'adjust' the English language..... ;-)

If the studio equipment was at fault then they owe you an hour of studio time!

Thanks guys. It was just a home project to see if it could be done. I wouldn't gig with this its a tiny little combo and would be embarassing lol. My old gigging rig (long ago sold) was a cabinet i had made for me loaded with two 15" Celestions with an ancient head which i think was Carlsbro..... I'm not gigging at the mo but had this old speaker in the loft that i'd was going to try.....might pick up a cheapy head to try it. Again thanks for the input :-)

I'll check the impedance guys and let you know.....think it's 8 ohms so should be able to parallel out a 1/4" jack if it is to another 8 ohm.

Okay tech types.....i have a combo i'm using which only has headphones out and line out with no fx loop. I also have an old 2x10 8 ohm impedance cab which i have retrieved from the loft (it nearly killed me). I know i can't use the line out to power the cab but wondered if there's any way to hook them up? Hoping there's something i can do to get this up and running. Cheers......Paul

It would be fair to say that there was an interesting aroma and a haze of smoke floating around the crowd.....can't think what it could have been.

Well i'm very chilled out watching bands at Guildford Cathedral for Wildlife Rocks.....lots of people here at one with nature and the earth and on top of that i got to see Brian May play with the Troggs.....Surreal! Hawkwind on about 3.30..... :-)

When all is said and done you will have a nice bass that you have a real attachment too because you put in the work and it was still a bargain :-)
