I keep an eye out for any Peaveys up for sale and the most common ones are Furys,Foundations & T-40's.
Generally prices are £100 - £200 for Furys & Foundations,with Furys nearer the £100 end. T-40's hover around £450.
Dyna basses are about the £250 mark along with Patriots. T-20's I've saw for the same on the rare occassion they appear.
I've more Cirrus than Millenniums for sale in the UK but I think it's just there were more Cirrus sold.Cirrus £600 and upwards, last Millennium I remember went for £250 on eBay.
Had a dodgy preamp though, probably came from the Peavey UK closure sell off.
Rarely seen models like TL's & Sarzo's again see the £500 - £600 mark. I probably could have haggled the B-Quad down a bit but since I'd only saw 3 for sale in 3 year I just jumped
at the chance.
The problem with USA Peaveys as I see it was Hartley's idea of great instruments at affordable prices got skewed to Americans playing a Peavey because they couldn't afford Fender.
That stigma stuck, T-40's had far more features than late 70's Fenders but sell for less than MIJ Fenders from the 90's.
Great basses that always offered that wee bit more, sadly just never won the marketing war.
Do yourself a favour and get one. Before I buy them all
