1. £238 winning bid !! Jeez that was a crazy low price. It's a shame the hits companies take trying to get established. Hope the buyer appreciates what a steal they got.
2. That's absolutely brilliant. Be great if more of us could have those calls instead of " Err I broke it. "
3. Silent bass no more. Man am I glad to here that. And for around £80,that just makes it better
4. Can't see me ever buying one but I like them alot. Refreshing bit of honesty from the builders too regarding the origins, might be made anywhere in Asia but with those Japanese fellas doing a reassemble the QC will be second to none. I'm watching the quilted maple one in the auction,£225 with 18 hours to go. Somebody's getting a great bargain soon
5.
You need an even bigger couch.
That should be a new thread Brother. Make a change from all those " How many basses !!! " threads. I see it now. Question " How many basses do I need ? " Answer " If there's room on your couch for you and your basses then you need more basses"
6. Here's the Peavey couch. Bit of a squeeze that one,19 Peaveys Having got rid of the 3 seater couch yesterday it was time for a photo, this time Harley Bentons.
7. I think it's quite plausible 100 people are checking frequently. I know from the 2Harley Benton guitars FB pages, the owners forum, BC and TB as well as Bassic.ch there's an awful lot of folk actively seeking dekos. Once you allow for 3 million customers making nearly £400 million in sales last year,do you really think Thomann need to "invent" dekos to boost their Google rating ?
8. Totally agree with Painy. I bought a b-stock PJ4 the other month, very decent bass. And I like the weird tort scratchplate, still not rubbed through the same one on the JB-75 either
9. It is a bit strange what makes a deko. Wrong label on my acoustic,mis-matched wood making the body of my PB-20 and I've yet to work out what was wrong with the JB-75 But my PJ 4 HTR b-stock came with a bent tuner.
10. Kristo I haven't played any of these as I stick to bass but some of the Harley Benton custom line acoustics have the wooden bodies others have suggested would help. This dreadnought has a cedar top with mahogany body for £209, no pickup though I'm afraid. http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_cld_30scm_solidwood.htm The mahogany top and body models go for around £150 with Fishman preamps. Not back in stock till next month. Here's a list of their steel strung acoustics to look through, might find one that works for you. http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_steel_string_acoustic_guitars.html
11. Another set of strings bought from David. As always a quick and easy process. Thanks again David looking forward to the next time
12. I've just noticed when you open the linked page on a deko product follow down the right hand side then open the page for the normal guitar,it's called bundled products. Under bundled products on the non deko items it tells you how many dekos are available. 5 of both the mini strat and white classical guitars are up for grabs just now.
13. Congratulations of your first Peavey. May there be many more go your way Concern yourself not with SF Vs VFL. If you haven't play either before how can one be better ?
14. Signed up Scott Will be following the SWB-1 as ir develops.
15. Congratulations on another successful project blablas.
16. Thanks Lads
17. A few weeks back a friend of mine decided to start up a forum for all the Harley Benton products. Now it's still early days and Thomann sell a massive range under that brand name so there's some glaring omissions. We've a fair few Harley Benton owners here so I asked ped if it was ok to post a link here. He said aye so here it is. http://theharleybentonclub.proboards.com/ So if anybody fancies adding info about their HB stuff, guitars, pedals even mandolins all will be welcome. Some news about amps and cabs would be great. Goes without saying the forum isn't linked in any way with Thomann, just my mate James in Spain was bored so set it up. Hope some of you add your tuppence worth. Cheers KB
18. I don't understand how the Bass Collection logo and the rest of the print on the control cavity cover have rubbed off but not the white sticker on it. My Bass Collection is bashed to hell but the print on the pickups and cover are still there.
19. Your timing is terrible. Never owned a Yamaha and always meant to. I see this just after ordering a bass from Thomann. What a bargain,I'd offer you GLWTS but that beauty will sell without it.Somebody is going to get very lucky. Have a BUMP
20. As always blablas it's a pleasure seeing your work.
21. Thank You Kindly DarkHeart. Given a choice I'd have went for the red like your own but hey beggars can't be choosers. It appeared on the Edinburgh Gumtree but I was stuck in Portsmouth at the time, amazingly the fella till had it a week later. Ain't we the lucky ones Hey congratulations on the job front, that was really cool walking right into another one.
22. Now that I like a lot. Lucky for me I cured my BC Rich GAS last year, same model though so we must have excellent taste
