BYO small print. "This is our last Mighty Mite PBass body and it is only available in black."

A 12" version lasting 4 minutes 14 seconds with a 1 minute 15 sec intro ? Waste of vinyl don't you think.
-
1 minute 15 sec intro. Nuff said.

I've had the same experience dealing with Andy. Saw Andy was selling a Fender Deluxe bridge so sent a PM. Great communication,light-hearted and friendly π Accepting Paypal made paying easy,I'm not up to speed doing internet bank transfers. Bridge was posted the very next day and I got a wee photo of the label. That was 2pm on Friday afternoon,I was signing for it 10am Saturday morning π The Man's a pleasure to deal with. Cheers Davie

Black Friday Deals has started. Give your heads up

Never would have looked at the guitar section π -
Swapped both hots to the middle like the wee picture above. That sorted it.

Where'd you spot that ? Scanning their site now and don't see it. -
Pickup hots are on two different lugs. I've 1 on row 2 and 1 on row 3. On this jpeg both go to the middle. Another difference with mine is the jumper,it runs lug 1 on first row to lug 6 on 3rd row.

Hi folks I'm hoping for possible causes. Bass is a Belcat/Ming 2 band preamp, fairly common in low cost basses. With the push/pull pot in the "in" position both pickups are working. When the vol pot is pulled only the neck pickup works. any ideas where I should start looking for problems ? Regards kb

Lovely basses. Can't fault my Paisley Pink.

5 and 1/2 year down the line my PB-50 still has same pots, same tuners, same bridge. No crackily jack socket either. Now that I think about if,has the same strap buttons too π I'm not for a moment suggesting it's the best hardware ever to grace a bass guitar but if you're not constantly fiddling about with it there's little can go wonky.

Congratulations @White Cloud First time I saw Vigier adverts in Guitarist magazine I was smitten. Took me 30 odd years before I got one, didn't take long for the 2nd to arrive π

First I've heard of New Moon. Just got a very nice quote. Glad I checked this thread, new insurance company for me when the policy lapses.

Cabronita Build. There Have Been Tears. Now there's Smiles.

Angle of the photo ,the blades extend 5mm passed E & G. Plenty of output π That said, I was bricking it when routing out the pickup π€£Had lines drawn all ways to find the position. It's a very small pickup, only 71mm long,If I'd kept the 2 saddle bridge and it's 20mm string spacing E & G would've missed.- 20 replies

I wasn't wrong about the sanding, came up trumps π These photos give a better idea of the colour. Over the next few days I'll iron out a couple of teething problems. TV Jones sounds brilliant but there's a ground issue. Need to get pickup height set properly too. Think I'd run into trouble had I went for another pickup, finding the blade version over in Spain saved the day. Time to clean up the workshop (kitchen) and have a wee rest.- 20 replies

Cheers Andy. Just gave it 2nd coat. Spending the time to sand it properly was a good idea. The camera flash makes it appear lighter so I'll see about better photos later.- 20 replies

Time for sanding. A lot of sanding π€¬ Started with 80 and ended with 2500. On with the tung oil. I'll leave it overnight then rub another coat with wet/dry paper first thing.- 20 replies

3 days and still no cover plate π€¬ Crap idea any way π Needed to hide those 2 holes. Thought of optons. Option 1 was rip a strip from he scrap then router a channel for it,glue the strip in and plane flat. With the angle of the holes the strip would need to be 200mm long and 60mm wide. Option 2, cover plate from scrap. Took option 2 π- 20 replies

I've had no bother with Hermes/Argos collection, not so good collecting from Yodel. Royal Mail is a different story,if stuff isn't 3 days late it fails to turn up. In the last month 1 bass body has went missing,a set of tuners joined it in the void. Now it's a couple of control plates gone missing π€¬ I swear blind some chancer in the depot is building basses with my gear.

No chance Jim ,those were hand painted π That kind of skill is well beyond my capabilities π I love the bridges on those basses, they were machined by Dan's (2saddleslab) old man π While back I bought some brass rod with a thought towards compensated saddles, never moved beyond the "thought" stage. 2 scratch plates arrived this morning, just waiting on another cover plate now. Before changing his mind for a control plate this eejit drilled the pot centres π€¬ Fingers crossed I've a bit scrap I can use as veneer on the cover plate. Might get a chance to use that Noll preamp π² Nothing much done today. Holes drilled for pickup and ground wires, bored out for jack socket cup.- 20 replies

Cheers Andy. The scratchplate and control plate are staying π Kind of felt it was going to look a bit plain. I know a few folk who are big slab body fans and the word from them was "keep the bloody plates !!" These convinced me it was the right choice. 3 ply black and dark tort should be here Thursday π- 20 replies
