Geddy Lee pedal

There is a Tech 21 Sans Amp Geddy Lee preamp on the market. This is the pedal version of it. I saw it on the internet and there is no mention of it anywhere. I am hoping it is to be showcased at the NAMM show soon and will be hopefully unleashed on us mere mortals soon after. I might add that the source of the leak is a Tech 21 showcase artist, so I'm believing it to be true

Geddy Lee pedal

I apologise if anyone has mentioned this before. I have only just found out about it. I'm assuming its getting showcased at NAMM and hopefully will be on sale soon after that. Dear Santa......
4. Sorry, but that’s just my opinion. I have fourteen basses and still love the P for the way it fits in
5. Ashdown pedal for distortion. Needing to offload some gear and I am finding that I can’t play as much as I would like and this was bought a couple of years ago. Never been used outside tbe house. Immaculate condition. No box unfortunately, but I. can make sure it’s well packed
6. I can concur that the necks on these are incredible. I have one and I love it!
7. Well done man, that's great that you got back into it. My job means I don't get a chance to play, but its great to hear about people getting back into it!
8. Seen Def leppard with Cheap Trick supporting at the Glasgow Hydro. Both bands were superb and I can honestly say, the sound was the best I have ever heard in a stadium gig. Maybe it was because we had good seats. I bought them for the Mrs, as a present. Actually, a birthday present that ended up being a Valentines present as I couldn't keep it secret any longer. Great gig!
9. Nothing fits in the mix quite like a P. Yes, lots of other basses have a larger range of sounds, for example, a J bass, but the P just sits in the mix better.
10. Ashdown pedal for distortion. Needing to offload some gear and I am finding that I can’t play as much as I would like and this was bought a couple of years ago. Never been used outside tbe house. Immaculate condition. No box unfortunately, but I. can make sure it’s well packed
11. Second hand , but never used EBS Multidrive distortion/ overdrive pedal. I don’t use this pedal and I need to offload some gear. Bought this and found that I can’t find the time to gig anymore. This pedal was never used in anger and is immaculate in condition. I unfortunately don’t have the box, but can make sure it’s oacked well.
12. Slightly away from your question. You are making a great decision. They are superb cabs. The best I have experienced anyway!
13. I own 14 basses, so why shouldnt I take a spare anyway? It's an excuse to use them, as I frequently rotate them!
14.
It's the one bass I have no desire to own. Don't like anything about it.
I had this same viewpoint. I hated them. Tried one in guitar guitar and was converted by the sounds. I have still not bought one, but would definitely consider one if I had the dosh currently!
15. Going to see Rainbow In a couple of weeks. Ok, it's a new band, but it's still Richie playing rock instead of that diddly dee rubbish!
16. I have one and can say, it's a lovely bass. You can change the sound quite a lot, so to say it's clancky, is misleading. It feels great, the neck is lovely and it just looks gorgeous!
17. I have found, over the years, that we always start at a decent enough volume, but as the night goes on, I feel as if I'm listening to a wall of noise. The desire to turn up to be heard is almost unbearable. I have asked the others have they turned up and they are adamant that they haven't. I've since found out that our ears, when faced with prolonged loud noise, will try to protect themselves by blocking out certain frequencies. This makes for a weird sensation of mud in your hearing, which is hard to play through. I have concluded that A, we are too loud to start with and 2 , monitors are a must!
18. I had an ex that came to most gigs. After we finished, she still appeared. Much to my annoyance!
19.
Problem....?... They are FLATS !!!....they are not meant to sound like rounds. They are meant as an alternative.
Exactly ! If flats sounded like rounds, we would just be talking about " strings "
20.
Was it in any way detrimental to the performance? I ask because you mention everyone hitting the dance floor. Sounds like it might have been a good thing for the punters.
I concur!
21. I realise flats have their place. Certain sounds call out for flats, but it's just not my taste. I love the sound of clean clear new rounds. There's a kind of resonance and harmonic , that you hear with a new string and they feel great!
22. We find it hard to keep up with what folk want to hear. I mean we know all the brown eyed girl type stuff, but hate playing it. Sometimes , that's the crowd you have in and then other nights, they want current stuff. We have tried to become diverse, but it usually comes at the expense of selling your soul. I would love to just play what I wanted . What I would like to hear myself.
