Right here goes. I recently bought a Carlsbro B - 150 amp it has PPI and Clip lights, it has a pre gain control knob and a post gain control knob. it has built in eq with the option of on or pre set. The amp does work but as soon as I plug in any bass the clip light will come on, then at a random time after the sound cuts off but the amp stays on. The amp does have heat sink/traps which I feel when the sound cuts out and the heat sink/traps are still cold. The same problem happens with any of the 4 basses I have and with trying different leads, this happens whether playing loud in a practice room or low volume at home. I've been using the amp usually with low'ish gain on both gain controls and higher volume. thanks for reading and for any help you can offer.
