I'm on the lookout for a tiny venue friendly 'cheap and cheerful / rough and tumble / no thrills' 1x12 (or 1x15) cab. Lighter and smaller the better, but I'm not put off by a bit of weight presented in a compact package. Which led me to the Peavey 112 Headliner - 400w (Eminence fitted) and at around £260 these seem to be decently appointed and I'd guess coming from Peavey - robust. I'm with you there, I once had a Bongo 4HH and always felt it a tad overpowering and maybe had something to offer in a passive guise. But eventually I couldn't be a**ed and sold it. My loss. Have since learnt to re-appreciate active circuits.

Zero issues, I've just decided to go back to a small class D amp and tiny pedalboard set-up - as you do. The midi pedal board was bought used from a fellow bass-chatter - this is pretty much a must have to get the best from the system. UK Sale only sorry.
