That rig looks amazing and no doubt sounds the biz, but no way would I trade my Demeter VTBPM800D against it!
- Thank You ! (I've at least got to ask the question on the PX Demeter (etc.) front !!!). Bump with new pics/info added.

I've got 2x used Zilla 2x12 600w neo Celestlon (BN12-300S) powered cabs, 4 ohms / 54lb/25kg weight-wise. £250 each or £450 for both. Trades - possibly interested in a small 2x10, 1x12 or 1x15 cab - ie. MarkBass Traveller. Any potential purchasers are welcome to try out in person - I'm based not too far from Chester/M56. I've had and still use ones by LD Systems and previously Warwick - nothing terribly expensive. Zips disintegrated pretty quickly but are still functional.
I'm quite interested in how you've managed to maintain the Fender logo on the headstock of this bass. It's hard to tell from the angle shown. Or have you cut around it?
Re-applied a fresh decal.

Full 'wrap' - pics don't really do it justice.
-
No clear coat, basically prepared body, applied wrap via hairdryer heat and stretched to suit, removed protective top layer and bob's your uncle. In all seriousness it was really done off the cuff as a rough test piece and other than one seriously hot/sweaty gig which took its toll and slightly tarnished some of the front fascia - it still looks pretty cool 2 years on.
-
Mexican Jazz - full body and headstock, using £12 worth of car wrap offcuts and a hairdryer. Bit basic to say the least, but pretty effective.

Does this Fender look dodgy to you?
mxm replied to sblueplanet's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
Taking the dodgy photography into account, all looks good to me - the bass shares similar attributes as my '76 & '78 Fenders. Think it's a '78. -
Keep it. It must sound glorious with a '64 P bass. Other than special occasions mine lives in the house.

£475ono collected including MarkBass fitted cover and I'll throw in a MarkBass Mark Stand. Price negotiable ! Less than a year old, basically mint condition thanks to included MarkBass fitted cover. Very light and compact - absolute joy to gig. Was returned within a few weeks of purchase due to a faulty driver - new one was then fitted - zero issues now ! MarkBass Bass Keepers not included sorry ! Surplus to requirements, I'm going back to gigging my 2x12's.
I'd be very interested if it was available as 4 ohm 😟 My valve amp will go to 2, but my other amps (like many) only go to 4 and I wouldn't want to have different cabs for different heads. As a one cab solution, I think BF may have a limited market of players who'll go for it because of this.
Yep, call me old fashioned but I'd much prefer a one-stop 4ohm cab (or 2 2x10's at 8ohms each).

Left handed Sandberg Basic Ken Taylor £300
mxm replied to dannybuoy's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
What's with that extra strap button though - can't say I've seen one added there before ? Yes, bargain if it remains around that price. -
Bought a MarkBass Midi pedal off Ryan, the whole process was an absolute joy - top marks all round. One of these: .
-
Having owned both - not a million miles away but the EBS Wah One is a similar and probably cheaper option used if you can find one ?!!
