Jimmy bought a pedal from me - deal with confidence, another absolute credit to Basschat.

Hi, I’ve decided I want one of those Boss Waza air things, as you do. Whilst I do feel it’s slightly overpriced and already owning the wireless transmitter part - I’m disappointed that I can’t buy the receiver headphones on their own. Anyway, I digress… To fund this purchase I intend to sell the following surplus used pedals… Further information and photographs can be provided via PM, all prices UK insured postage. Mooer Pitchbox pitch shifter £25 (Sold). Source Audio Spectrum £160 (Sold). MXR Dunlop M82 Envelope Filter £85 (Sold). Digitech Bass Synth Wah £55 (Sold).

I can only echo what’s been said here - met up with Martin on several occasions wheeling and dealing, his description of a TM Stevens Warwick he’d owned had me in tears. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace my friend.

Loz purchased a pedal from myself, a pleasantly flawless experience from discussion to transaction. A top bloke and another credit to the Basschat community.

Bought one of these back in 2018 mainly for use as a monitor. Was suitably impressed by the handling and abuse it was capable of dealing with so much so that I started to use it as my back line for small to medium gigs. Must mention that I’ve not gigged it with a 5 string, yet. Had the 108, I’m sure it’s great for guitar, monitoring and maybe quieter situations but even at home it strained under 4 string use. Swapped it for a used 112. Can even go stereo now… I tend to use mine upright (in conjunction with a mini speaker stand) in gig situations, so can be placed in the oddest of spaces thanks to the small footprint. Overall - it’s cheap, multi functional and leads to much fun buying up every preamp you can think of to pair it up with.

Pretty sure there are bargains out there to be had on eBay and Reverb, if you can circumnavigate their systems and get an ‘alternative’ offer in ! It never hurts to ask...

I was going to buy a Jack Casady bass, but....

May not be the route you want to go down, but, there seem to be a couple of used semi acoustic lefties (Warwick Star Bass and an Epi JC) currently for sale via Arni’s Lefty Bass site ? -

I did wrap a cheaper Jazz of mine using blind faith, a hairdryer, a blade and some cheap chrome wrap offcuts bought from eBay, all done on my kitchen floor. From a distance it looked pretty effective, on closer inspection it was obviously a bit rough as it was my first attempt at such a thing and was eventually let down by the quality of the bought material as it tarnished from sweat and general use - definitely not 3M. I’ve pics somewhere.

Martin bought a couple of straps off me. Martin is a straight up top fella on this forum. 15 pages of exemplary feedback attest to that. Here’s to 15 more !!! Ta.

Be interesting to see what they’ll end up going for second hand... ...anyone recall the Marshall 810 surplus literally going for buttons a while back ? -
Lee bought a MarkBass stand off me, total pleasure from start to finish. Even sent me a pic of it being used - which was a sweet touch ! Sterling basschatter.

I'm lucky enough to own one of the Heritage models (there's a pic of it on my profile page) - it was a major purchase but it's a keeper on many levels. Gigged it the once, used it in a video, but it's mainly my very pretty expensive house combo.
