Post your pedal board - Basschat style!!
thisisswanbon replied to dudewheresmybass's topic in Effects
More changes... at this point I'm not sure I'll ever be satisfied! SA Ultrawave is gone in place of the Big Muff Sovtek Delux, brilliantly versatile fuzz! I loved the dyna-ssor so much I splurged on the Rattler mk2... Tempted to change the preamp to something more amp like, but this set up sounds filthy with my Sandberg Cali II with emg gzr P pick up -
Well this backfired 🤦♂️... enjoy your NBD neepheid!

That's awesome for you, but awful for me after I cancelled my order in favour of one in-stock with Thomann... mines currently in the middle of its journey to the border according to Thomann tracking 😖. Fingers crossed for you that Andertons manage to over-deliver after weeks of over-promising!
-
Even more exciting...
-
This is exciting! New lead time 10-13 weeks for new orders though 😬
-
Just cancelled with Andertons and ordered with Thomann! Appreciate the shout. I've gone for the Natural finish Z7 4 string, they had 1 left in stock that needs to go through quality (hence the 2-5 days lead time). Even if I don't get it any quicker, I'm happier to use a more forthcoming company. They did mention there are no more coming until November now...
-
My thoughts exactly! Although I can't think of anything else that ticks so many boxes at this price point, and I really don't want to go to the back of the queue at Thomann 😫 I think this will be a last purchase with Andertons though either way...
-
Given they're telling people with existing orders the 12th, it's disappointing that they're still showing this...
-
I told a customer the same thing today for something we haven't even ordered yet - Customs are such a mystery that they're the perfect scapegoat.
-
Andertons wouldn't lie just to keep hold of the pre-order, surely? 🤔 I did say to him that if this is going to be a rolling delay as I've previously experienced then I'd rather cancel and go to somewhere more forthcoming, but he pinkie promised this was the last delay.
-
Yup... just called and been put back to 12th due to a delay with the shipping container. Apparently this is the last delay though 🤔
-
Oh wow... mines definitely going back, although nothing yet. 🤔 I may cancel this and look elsewhere at this point. Shocking way to go on stringing people along
-
I've not had an update yet and website still shows 3rd - when did you order yours???
-
Same situation! I got excited when they emailed twice last week to say still the 30th, but alas it isn't to be! Hopefully with this being an update it may be accurate 🤞🤞🤞

Compressors and fuzzes and octabvres - HELP!
thisisswanbon replied to thisisswanbon's topic in Effects
You're not wrong... it IS a fuzz! In the end I isolated the broken and the compressor on loop A and then octave and synth on loop B, caused a couple of wrong pedal presses on Sunday 😂... The DHA Broken is going back though and an EHX sovtek deluxe on its was which will hopefully make things easier! -

I thought that, but it still kills all of the attack on my octave and brings up all the mud. I've come up with a solution splitting my synth stuff to one loop and clean/fuzz to another using an LS2 clone - think I'm trying to have my cake and eat it too... -
Compressors and fuzzes and octabvres - HELP!
thisisswanbon replied to thisisswanbon's topic in Effects
I thought that, but the issue I like the Dyna-Ssor AFTER the fuzz - and if I isolate the compressor I'll have to isolate the fuzz too, or put the ls2 at the end of the chain which would also put the octaver at the end of the chain, stopping me from stacking into the C4 or DHA broken 😬. -
Compressors and fuzzes and octabvres - HELP!
thisisswanbon replied to thisisswanbon's topic in Effects
Thanks for the reply! I've actually got an LS2 clone, and did think about using it, but can't suss how to route it to isolate the octaver and have it so I can stack... 🤔 -
Hi All! Got a bit of a head twister here... Recently got a Jam Dyna-ssor which does marvellous things to my clean tone! Unfortunately, it does horrible things to my fuzzes and octave when infront of them. It also does horrible things AFTER my octaver but makes my fuzz sound HUGE! So ideal world I'd like to isolate it from my octave, while keeping it after my fuzz and other effects but before my preamps. Issue is, I stack my octave into a C4 or my fuzz sometimes, so struggling to find a way to not tap dance... any ideas? Path is: Tuner > Octabvre > SA C4 > DHA Broken > Dyna-ssor > Joyo Monomyth > Source Audio bass zio

Bit of an issue with iteration #17365019 Recently got the Jam Dyna-ssor, and I LOVE what it does to my clean tone, but hate what it does going into my fuzz, octabvre and ultrawave. Kicked the ultrawave off the board and moved the dyna-ssor to the end of my chain (which made the Broken sound HUGE) but it still makes my octabvre sound muddy. At the moment I'm stomping one off as I stomp the other on, but hate doing that. Any suggestions??? -
JPTR FX Jive - £90+ £5 shipping or free local drop off Relisting; as much as I love this pedal I have a problem and want other stuff to sell at a loss a few months later... Bought new 3-4 months ago, been on board so velcro on back, new condition besides that. Comes with box and box candy etc as shown...

Source Audio Bass Zio Preamp £185 - *SOLD*

Price drop £185+ shipping Excellent all analogue space saving preamp pedal with DI and headphone out. As New, pre velcroed for you - £200 plus fiver shipping or happy to drop off locally 🙂. Comes with as new box and psu. Excellent control set with broad bass boost, interactive HPF, treble cut/boost, pultec trick based scoop switch, and a grit switch that adds everything from saturation to low/mid drive. Lovely for fattening up your tone without over colouring. Reading up on these, they were built with the best components Source Audio could find - and there's a real high quality present when it's in use (headphones sound night and day compared to other headphone amps I've used)

Squier CV mustang bass, few months old purchased for £379 + £40 for the fender short scale gigbag. Also have a new set of D'addario Short scale rounds ill throw in. Looking for £330 plus shipping (would rather local collection or delivery though) This bass was purchased from PMT back in January, and replaced with a brand new one by PMT back in April (the first one had cracks in the neck join paint, this one does not, as pictured below). In brand new condition as you'd expect for a 4 month old bass, it even still has the film on the scratch plate. The gigbag is also in excellent condition. Genuinely one of the best feeling necks I've had (better than my sandberg cali II in honesty), it just doesn't suit my band the way I thought it would.

I agree... I always find his playing genuinely inspiring and always tasteful. Admittedly though I much preferred Nathan to Cici.
