1. Oooh. I quite like the idea of a Rockbass Alien fretless 5 string. I wonder when prices will be announced?
2. I bought a Zoom drum machine but I can't program beats for toffee. Seen that Digital Village are doing EZ Drummer and the Drummer From Hell expansion pack for £89. VERY tempted to treat myself after pay day... 3.
You do realise that your mishap has put the Shuker builds back 3 months ??
I think I'll be asking for delivery to the after-life at this rate
4. GORGEOUS! Why do all these lovely basses turn up when I've already got a custom bass commissioned and I'm paying more. Good luck with the sale.

So you must have won the Jerzy Drozd competition to win the first Singlecut off the production line! Congratulations and it's a shame that it's not a keeper. Good luck with the sale.
6. That is gorgeous. I'm hugely jealous that you've got such a lovely Shuker to play on and I'm still waiting for mine
7. My Hartke 2200 Pro 2x12 came with castors and the only thing that has broken/failed on it so far was the castors! Immediately replaced them with some more heavy-duty ones and they've done me proud since. In hind-sight, I think it's probably a better idea to use a trolley than attach castors direct to the cab as you can use the trolley for other equipment too.
8. I'd have a custom Shuker 6 string made... oh, i am! Unfortunately money is still an object though
9.
Got lead problems? Buy OBBM, i've got two and i'll never use anything else.
If for any reason I can't get a guarantee claim on my Monster lead then I fully intend on doing business with our own OBBM for a replacement quality lead.
10.
Had an email from Monster Europe! Monster USA passed on my details to them. A chap got in touch with me to sort out postage and stuff. A soon as my lead gets to them they will send a new one out asap! Pretty darn good me thinks. I have to pay postage into Europe, they pay for it to get back. Costing me about 3 quid. I had my lead on sale. I paid 25 pounds for it. Think they are over 40 rrp. So still a few quid up.T
That's great news. One of my Monster leads seems to have developed a break at practice last night and keeps popping very loudly. It's served me faithfully for the last 12+ years and I am fully prepared to purchase a new lead, but hearing this makes me wonder whether it's worth trying my chance at actually trying the Lifetime Guarantee promise. What is the email address for Monster Europe guarantee claims, and do you need to produce the original receipt? (my receipt is long gone).
11. How about getting pickups and electrics that allow you to put in a passive switch? Best of both worlds then.
12. I'd like to show an expression of interest once a date and venue have been set.
13.
That answer your question dude?
Thanks for the answer, and yes, it did. Is the ACG a passive pickup with active EQ, or both active pickup and EQ? Can you bypass the EQ to make it an entirely passive instrument?
14. What a lovely complimentary pair you've got there. Not tempted to put a high-mass bridge on the Jazz too?
15. Gorgeous. I love the idea of pairing the single overwound pickup with the tonal variety of the ACG pre-amp. Dare I ask how it compares to your Shuker?
16. Gig a lot more than last year with my two new bands (only played 2 gigs last year with my previous band and I've already got about 6 gigs booked with the new ones, so that should be entirely achievable). Get to grips with my new Shuker if it ever gets finished Go back to having some bass lessons after 12 years since my last one.
17. I've just started to play this, and as such I just follow the guitarist for now. Might start adding the mad fills and slides when it gets a bit tighter.
18. All these positive comments are doing nothing for my GAS!
19. That is lovely. Haven't seen that brand before, but it's giving me fretless GAS
20.
any more news? im really looking forward to seeing the finished article!
No news Going to enquire again in the New Year as to progress.
21. WOW! If I wasn't already having a custom bass made I'd have one of those. That's gorgeous.
22. I played a gig last Friday with an originals band I joined a couple of months ago. It was my first gig with them. Quickly ran through the intro riff of the first song during the sound check - no problem. Got to the first change in the song when we started and my mind went totally blank. Spent a bar or two just fumbling around playing a little softer while I found the notes again. Fortunately I picked it up and cursed myself for forgetting a simple song. The rest of the gig went very well indeed and I was very relaxed.
23.
Maybe he liked being a big fish in a small pond rather than the other way round
+1. I found myself in a band playing with some sh1t-hot multi-instrumentalist musicians and lived in perpetual fear that my playing would never match their standard. No-one likes being the weakest link. Luckily they couldn't organise their way out of a wet paper bag and split up after only a couple of gigs.
24. +1 It's an awesome looking bass, glad to hear that it now comes with an awesome sound to match. Congratulations on a job well done!
25.
And on that brighter note - I JUST GOT A JOB!! Only part time hours atr the local Odeon cinema but it's a start, and I'm made up about it! Yays!
Awesome new boss! Hopefully catch up soon (if you've got the time outside of work ).
