2. About midway would sound about right, that would allow room for intonation adjustment.
3. Have a look on Ebay.com, they sell them on there for a decent price.
4. Thought I'd sold it bump.
5. Bump for pics
6. I had this up for trade recently but I've now decided that I really need to sell it. I'm not using it and it kills me to see such a nice Bass lying around doing nothing. I bought this from Mike back in 2010 and I must say it's a stunning Bass to to play and listen to. The specs (taken from the original thread) are below. Pics on their way but original thread is here http://basschat.co.u...ar-ebony-board/ Looking for £950 5 String Jazz bass 33" Scale String spacing 17mm Red flamed maple finish rounded over, no binding Matching jazz bass headstock veneer - 5 piece laminated neck, maple/wenge (usual J bass) Fingerboard: Macassar Ebony Pearl block inlays Two way truss rod, carbon fibre reinforcement Frets - Medium Red LED side dots - Brass adjustable Nut - In black 5A flame maple top Satin neck finish - Polyester basecoat/wetlook gloss topcoat Black knobs Black hardware Ind. bridge units Black Hipshot tuners - Elephant Ear style Recessed neck bolts String spacing - medium, not wide Preamp - Shuker Pickups - Delano single coils Jack socket - side mounted Snap off plastic battery covers in back

8.
Just spotted this on the Ibanez site. http://www.ibanez.co...ries-ATKPremium I always wanted to pick up one of the original basses after seeing the Offspring back around 1998 but this version looks great. Hats off to Ibanez for recording the sound/video clips too. The bassist is a beast too - I've listened to all the clips and the playing is pretty awesome. http://www.ibanez.co...ples/index.html No idea on UK pricing or if it will make it here, they quote $749 so I would hope it would be around £500, in which case I want it!!!
Loving this Bassist, the bass sounds great too.
9. Bought a Badass Bridge from Gaz. Great comms and fast delivery. cheers Gaz.
10. I believe it has NL4 speakon connectors which I think are 4 pole. I'm not sure what the GK cabs have.
11. I live just down the road from there so I'll try and make it.
12. No Eden love on here ? Reduced to try and tempt someone, it's a great cab, I just don't use it anymore. Need to sell as I've let someone down on an amp sale. I also have a TC Electronic 4x10" going for £300.
13. I'll join
14. I'm currently learning some Ska and Reggae for a wedding do that's coming up and thoroughly enjoying playing them.
15. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-p-bass-with-jazz-neck-/130763997507?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item1e72244143 This is screaming ply body at me. Whenever a seller says that he's not sure if the parts are genuine or not, especially more than once, you can be sure they're not.
16. This one also has no name on the headstock. I was hoping the guy would be a basschatter but no sign of him yet. I'm going to get it working, not sure what's wrong with it yet but I am getting a reading from the pups so I doubt it's them. I'm not gigging this weekend so it'll give me some time to have a look at it. I'll probably order some new pots and a jack for it in the meantime.
17. I've had this Jap Crap P-Bass in my garage for a while and yesterday I decided to have a closer look at it. It's not working so I decided to take off the scratchplate and have a look at the engine. Anyway I found this written under the scratchplate and was wondering if it ever belonged to anyone on the board. Also the pickup looks similar to a Dimarzio so I was just wondering if it was. Any info on the bass would be appreciated.
18. Yes mate, still avail.
19. I've just bought Nick's RH450. Fast delivery and great comms, all in all a hassle free deal.
20. I used to have an SVT 6 Pro and it had the same problem although not as bad as yours. It used to trip my house power occasionally when first powered up but was fine elsewhere. It does draw a lot of power when first switched on apparently. There is a fix for it, I remember reading something about it at the time.
