1.
Just saw this on ebay. Just wondering about the headstock as there's no logo. Seller says it was "nearly completely worn off prior to having the guitar re lacquered". Could it be a replacement neck?
The neck doesn't look a great fit in the pocket if you ask me. I don't know much about the ins and outs of these vintage guitars but the tuners look a tad new as well. Plus there's the fact that he's a newbie ebayer with zero feedback. I'd be very careful with this one.

 3.
thats cool. When you get a chance to have a listen and let me know what you think. Any advice/help is always much appreciated as we are about to record again soon
I've just had a listen as well, really enjoying the songs. I've sent a friend request, hope you don't mind.
 4.
What,so send the amp to the input then?will it not damage the zoom unit.
You don't need the amp, just plug your Bass into your Zoom unit and use the headphones from that.
 5. PM'd with crossed fingers.
 6. Thanks for all the reply's, I think we'll give it a wide berth. Because we play original music we'd love to be heard in London and obviously as many places as posiible but this does just sound like a spam mail and if he's having to do that then the venue must be sh*te to play at. Any decent place will have no shortage of bands wanting to play there.
 7.
Have they told you to buy x amount of tickets upfront from them by any chance? It's right by Kings Cross. The venue is actually decent, and you can have a good night if you get a good size crowd along. The stage is a good size and the sound guy is pretty much directly ahead of you at the back. The house backline is pretty bad last time i checked. Workable drum kit, rubbish peashooter amps. I brought my own amp though. If there's a sound engineer with baseball cap and goatee (& an american accent), he's a bit of a knob in my opinion.
I'm not sure, it was our singer that he contacted. The problem we have is that we don't have a following in London so anyone there won't be to watch us. I'll enquire a bit more but I managed to find the other thread on the venue and it doesn't look too good. The thing that threw me a bit was the fact that it's called Monto. Has it always been called this or has someone else taken over and therefore it might be worth giving the place a try.
 8. They have approached us asking if we want to gig there. Having never gigged in London before, does anyone have any info on the venue. I seem to remember some not so good comments about the place. Any info appreciated.

 11. PM'd
Hello everyone - Bump time.
12. Buy your strings from the USA, they are the same in $ as they are £, ie $23 instead of £23, they'll deliver within a week too most of the time. I'm a recent convertee to flats and I must say, I love the feel and sound of them
 13. It's easy enough to buy a voltage adapter here for it, you'll get a good one in Maplins for around £16. I bought one and use it for my Tascam USB interface which I bought in the US and have no problems with it whatsoever.
 14. It looks like it's heavily worn and you only play the one string. Did Adam Clayton own it before you ?

 16.
My GSR205 was an awesome bass so I'm sure this will be more of the same. Carry on.
Nice looking Bass, what's the B string like on it ?
 17.
If is ever was a £600 bass then I'm a banana! 18.
I've got a 1979 T-40 which is the most indestructable bass known to man!
+1 on the T-40 I used to have a T-60 which is it's 6 stringed cousin and it's was a beast of a guitar.
 19.
Bump. Any takers? Any near offers?
I'm so tempted by this lot, you only live down the road from me as well.
 20. Hi I'm selling this at the moment as well as a few other items on Ebay. I thought a few people on here might be interested. It has not been used much and comes with the original PSU, Manual and Box. Has a great tuner on it as a built in drum machine. It's a very handy piece of kit. I'm looking for £45 for it.
 21.
the most easiest to replace component...from an access point of view should be the softest in general terms if the nut is easy to get out...then ok i often wondered how they got the truss rod etc in there anyway....i thought the fretboard would need to come off
I'll order a new nut and see if that solves the problem. The nut comes out fairly easily so it's no bother. As it is, I've got the bass playable by shimming the neck but the action is higher than I'd like it so I'd really like to get it fixed.
 22. I'm selling my Zoom RT-234 drum machine, works perfectly, I just don't have a need for it. It's great for practising along to. I have a power supply for it and the manual can be downloaded from the Zoom website. It's on Ebay but if anyone's interested, make me an offer and I'll end the Ebay listing.
 23. It's on Ebay for £75 but I'm open to offers from anyone on here.
