1. I took this in a trade from Oliver as he desperately wanted my Aerodyne but I don't really have a need for it as I'm Ibanez'd out now with both my 1300 and 1305 Prestige's. He received it as a Christmas present so it's basically brand new. These go for just short of £800 new so how does [s]£590[/s] £550 sound. It's a great Bass with Nordstrand singles on it. Here's the spec below. Premium Fret Edge Treatment The premium fret edges are processed to be specially rounded for smooth play and comfortable neck grip. Body Lamination Figured maple top lamination gives the bass a premium feel along with a strong presence. Nordstrand™ Pickups Nordstrand™ pickups provide the clear sound characteristic of single coil pickups, while the large body gives players a powerful and aggressive tone. EQB-IIISC The EQBIIISC is a customized 3-band EQ and a dedicated preamp for Nordstrand™ pickups for further pure and wider frequency response. 2. Thanks Rick, you never know, I might end up keeping them.
3.
Yeah, some great offers - this is why I love dealing on Basschat. No one's offered me £50 or their Sue-Ryder-with-a-bent-neck yet Black one is superb. Noticeably heavier, though.
That'll be the lead in the paint
4. I will ship no problem. I have a Fender gig bag and a guitar box which I can pack it in. Postage will be around £15
5. Feeler Looking to sell this MIJ Squier P-Bass. It's an "N" serial which I think is early 90's, I'll no doubt be put right. It's got a DiMarzio pickup and a John East P-Retro fitted. For its age it's in good nick apart from a small chunk in the back of the body. The neck has a bit of wear but nothing bad, it's got a nicely played in feel to it. Looking for £280
6. I bought these from Rick's Fine '52 with the intention of using them in my Acoustic trio, unfortunately the rest of the band weren't as keen on them as I was so as they're sitting around doing nothing I thought I'd offer them to someone that might use them. If I had the space they'd be sat in my living room either side of the telly wired up to the amp but I don't so they have to go. Ricks description of them is below. (hope you don't mind Rick) These are late 60's (Believed to be '68), pair of Fender columns. Each contains 4x8" speakers. Very cool pair, rare in the UK. Black tolex, with cream tolex inner panels. The two 60's Fender badges are worth £50 each!! The last pair I saw in the UK sold for £400. I'm looking for £200 £175 collected. I've never even plugged them in......I'm sure they work?? They do :-) I'd like to get my money back for them or would possibly trade for something interesting, let me know what you've got. Now on to the interesting bit
7. Bump for new pic with black scratchplate.
8. Still looking for a 5 string trade bump
9. Tony just bought my Tascam Bass Trainer. Paid immediately and was a pleasure to deal with.
10. Bought Chris' SR405 from him. It arrived as described and in quick time. A pleasure to deal with.

12. My Aerodyne hasn't sold yet so time for a bump
13. Make me an offer, I might not be offended.
14.
Be very careful - despite all the nostalgia and 'lawsuit era' reverie, I've seen both E series Jap and MIK strats with ply bodies. Whip off the covers and have a poke about before paying!
+1 to this. I used to have a MIK Tele from that era and the body was ply. It was still a good guitar though. I've also had an MIJ E serial strat and that was solid wood and a lovely guitar. If I remember correctly it also had Fender stamped tuners and bridge.
15. One Bass sold (not on here), one to go. Think I'll be keeping this :-)
16. Yes it is a cracking Bass. If my other two basses sell this one will be withdrawn.
