  4. Reason for the price, it has a snapped truss rod. See picture. So gutted. Description courtesy of Mike2stone and apologies Mike for doing this to your amazing bass😢 “The bass is super versatile and is equipped with the "Music Man" like Haeussel humbucker and a Haeussel jazz on the neck. It is active with a passive switch and a series/Single coil/parallel toggle, which means you can make it sound like anything you want. The Glockenklang preamp is one of the cleanest and meanest I have heard, it is truly German engineering at its best.” It has an alder body with a Maple burl top and matching headstock. You can read the full specs for the bass below: Body: alder with maple burl top and resonance hollows Neck: hard rock maple, matched headstock Fingerboard: birds eye maple, 21 frets Nut width: 45mm Construction: bolt on Pickups: Haeussel humbucker + single coil with 1 mini switch (serial/single coil/parallel) Electronics: active 2-band Glockenklang - volume(active/passive push/pull switch), balance, bass, treble/passive tone Finish: natural, body/neck Hardware: Wilkinson Ultralite machine heads, Maruszczyk ETS bridge, 19mm spacing Comes with gig bag. Prefer not to post. Price excludes all shipping. No trades thanks.
  5. No apologies necessary. All the best. David
  6. Given Beedster’s helpful comments I have amended the description and reduced the price. David
  7. I have one of these. Great basses. Good luck with your sale.
  8. A ton of strings. Not new. Mostly 4 strings but some 5. Cut and uncut. Various makes but mostly nickel. Some duds but limited home use only ( 17 basses). Definitely not boiled! Pick only. If no interest in a few days I will dispose of or make me an offer. Now £25. David
  9. 1970’s unlined fretless Fender jazz bass with unspecified precision body. Not sure what year as the last digit has rubbed off. Tuners unknown but looks the part. Condition 8/10. 38mm at the nut. No idea about the body but it’s in good condition overall. 34 inch scale, 4kg weight, 19mm spacing. All working including the truss rod. Amazing tones! No case so pick up only unless you want the neck or body, which I will split neck £600/100 excluding all postage. Now £700.
  10. Actually, no, 34inch, sorry. I’m not doing well with this posting.
  11. Sigh🫣 Thanks for pointing it out! When I have figured editing I will remove. David
  12. Bacchus standard 5 v2. 2015. Craft Series. Made in Japan. 48mm at the nut. String spacing 16mm. 34inch scale. Weight 5kg. One tiny nick on the back. All working at it should. Quality instrument. Bacchus padded gig bag. Prefer not to post but may consider. Price excluded all postage. Now £450! I will ship now. The buyer arranges and pays for. I will box up. This is well made bass and has a great slap tone.
  13. Requires new input jack. Never used in anger. Pick up only, no trades thanks. Now £50. There’s a chat on here about the same issue and the correct part to replace. Probably do it yourself like the fellow bass chatter did for 10 quid. Cost me £450 new in the day!
  14. Serial 009474 so likely date of manufacture 1978/9? 40mm at nut, 20 frets, 4kg, spring spacing 19mm. Strung with heavy flats. A number of dings, the worst of which (by far) is indicated. The light blue is a reflection! All original. All in working order including the truss rod. Very little fret wear. The neck is in super condition although there are a few marks on the headstock. Unbelievable neck on these, as others on this forum have said. Now with padded gig bag added. No trades. Now £425 excluding all shipping.
  15. Parts only. Body smashed in transit. Glued together so actually working. 54mm at nut. 26 scale. 28 frets! 4.5kg weight. No case so pick only.
  16. PB 1132. If I recall correctly, Paul told me it was made in 1981.
  17. I didn’t think it was appropriate to post pictures on another persons sale thread but by popular demand! Also has the xlr.
  18. Beautiful. I have one of the others. Fretless. Good luck with the sale.
  19. Stunning indeed. Crystal clear tones and that neck. You won’t find a better quality bass for £450.
  20. These are brilliant. I have 2. Price asked is on the low side. Surprised not already snapped up.
  21. I have one. It’s brilliant. Great price as well.
  22. Nearly half price. Bargain for what is a great piece of kit.
  23. I thought this was a keeper! Great bass and I am sure will be bought as quickly as when I sold it.
  24. I just bought them from Kevin and you are spot on. Much better than Bose for bass.
