  1. Bump for a beautiful bass...............
  2. Oh god I want the Laurus............I know the head looks like a biscuit tin but I cant help it.......
  3. This won't be available for much longer guys because as I said its a feeler. So something I'd be prepared to sell but I don't absolutely need to. That may change but for now I'll drop the price to 1850 for a week after that It'll come own to stay with me a bit longer.
  4. 4 weeks to Greenboy day................ still haven't worked out which amp..........
  5. This week I shall be mostly selling my Zakrzewski Exclusive.......and not bourbon biscuits.
  6. I've played through this when I bought a vintage precision from Alan a wile back. Its a lovely sound, gorgeous. And, Alan is proper decent chap to deal with - highly recommend.
  7. I know there are a few wish lists on here from time to time but with the market being slow and lots of good things in the BC Marketplace, I wondered what would I choose from what's on sale here now if I could have it. I think it would have to be that lovely Pistachio MTD or the Zon Sonus Fretless 5 for me. What would you go for?
  8. If this was a 5 it would have just sold.....................
  9. Had one of these. My first ever bass............loved it....should have kept it.............. have a bump.
  10. Ohhh that is popper fugly
  11. I have an early NT6. Wanted one since I was a lad and bought one in lovely condition a few years back. Its about the same weight as a baby grand piano so its my 'sitting down bass'. On the other hand the build quality is as good as my Fodera and it has a bottom B that is so clear punchy and deep that its almost digital, you could kill a pig with it at 50 yards. Is it practical, is it good at everything, is it going up in value? no - but its that bass I always wanted in the day and now I can enjoy it. If you want one do it because you want to.
  12. Bump, well more thump actually :-) Buy one of these From Andy Baxter and it won't cost you much shy of £2,500
  13. Strangely enough it encourages the inner Jameson..... The sound encourages you to do things you might otherwise not and to practice.
  14. Mine has been on order for two weeks and I can' t wait
  15. For Jazz heard a local young player in my neck of the woods called Ben Hearn , plays a fretless Roscoe. Very, very nice sound

  17. I'll tell you what it is. cannot believe that there is not somewhere in today's sounds for a classic Gibson. I just can't hear it. I can't find it, Everyone says its looks cool, or loved it in that day but are they now just history? Who uses a Gibson today? I know Brian Leiser from FLC uses a LP but its dark stuff very dub.
  18. That's a point.......... perhaps some T Rex?
  19. Guys its not about the look give me some Gibson lurve here................Where is THAT Gibson sound? What can't I do without a Gibson.........???
  20. Great Stuff Christian.
  21. I have a NT Thumb six from 86. It was my dream bass as a lad. Got it just 3 years ago and I love it to bits. I has a B so digital and clear it could kill a pig at 50 feet and rings like a bell at the top. It isn't sweet its just a dirty beast :-) What I don't use fully I will learn to use.
