It sends emails...........thought of that and the band admin can enter on their behalf and send them a confirmation

People will always be people so I designed this to remove just about every plausible excuse. Even if someone won't register it will still send them emails. That just leaves the choice to sack people and you'll be glad to hear that there is actually a 'Sack' button :-) No electric shocks I'm afraid. As for google calendar........... its pants.

There is a personal diary (out dates, holidays & stuff) and a separate one for each project/band. Because they all separate so you can view either all in a single time line or each separately in context, but they all 'talk to each other' within your own view. That means you can never double book yourself. Each separate band/ project Calendar talks to all the members of that band and all communication is simultaneous including confirmation poll. No personal data is shared and all communicating is end to end encrypted. The system works on personal membership with a band leader and other admin capability. Each member needs to register separately. Because the system can 'test' the availability of members itself ( check out dates) it can show availability without you having to ask. You can then instantly 'provisionally' confirm a date ( so long as members have put in their out dates) and a poll to book. Bear in mind that this works for multiple bands with multiple members. It also has group messaging and automatic map generation. More to come............

This will work for any band big or small, with or without deps. It just makes communication much, much easier.

Dear All, please watch this space. My new software called MusyCal is now nearly ready. I know it didn't get a lot of interest when I posted before Xmas but it's nearly finished. I am looking for 100 memberships for Beta testing then it goes public. The Beta members get it free for life the rest have to pay a modest fee. These are a few screen shots, multiple bands, simultaneous messaging, polling and instant date checking. This is coming in the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled. Sadly Beta test has to be UK only at this stage. If this isn't the most useful bit of band software you have ever seen I will eat my Fodera.......

Dear All This is my Czech made Steinberger NXT complete with stand and strap adaptor bar. I have had this for about a year and have found it to be the prefect transition for me between Bass Guitar and EUB. Being a shorter scale than the full size double bass it is comfortable and the spacing is compatible with Bass Guitar. The sounds are great and it works as a thumpy DB sound with the tone shape switch in or ever very fretless like, lovely growl. tone & volume controls on the side. I'm moving it on now as I have a CR5 full size EUB and so I need to concentrate on that. The bas has a few scratches round the truss rod access. a tiny nick on the back of the nech and a couple of very small dings right at the bottom. It runs on a battery free piezo system. New cost now is over £1,500 for a fiver I'm asking just over half of that with something for postage. Located Essex UK.

It looks like something an overzealous amateur chef would to a root vegetable, its not pretty. It probably sounds the stinky poo though an in 20 years will be worf miwlians like.

In 2014 after not playing for 15 years I went back to bass. After a year of bedroom work I formed a band which ended up being called West 54. We set about doing covers of modern funk tracks and we did 30 Days by PB Underground ( Pete Ray Biggin's Band other than Incognito and level 42)... Recently We recorded a cover of the track live and put a video together. Today PBUG messaged us after seeing the video and told it was a great job. I'm just so chuffed......... I don't want this to be a boast post - I cant believe its just 3 years since I really was really struggling to play. So if you are new or back to bass just go for it. Happy day for me.

Lollipops, dots and binding type bump for this rare and lovely instrument........ This is a transition year for Fender, especially the Jazz Bass. CBS had taken over the company a year before and was already implementing some big design changes. The Jazz now had a bound neck and soon after would have the faux pearl block inlays too. What makes this year special is the Jazz Bass changes and the fact that the quality control was still high with Leo Fender remaining as a consultant and many of the original builders still on staff.

This is my all original 1966 Fender Jazz bass. Purchased from the US a few years ago, I have decided to mover her on. She is all original and as far as I can tell down to the last screw. The finish is clean and bright and the bass has that big bold 66 funky tone. She has a slight buzz on the 15th fret on the G which I could sort out with a bit of fret work but never felt the need as I use her as a funk bass. She has a few nicks in the body but nothing major - I have posted pictures to show but she is very clean all over. This bass was an under the bed find and the case smells a little of that but It's not nasty and I don't want to put anything in the case that might affect the finish over time. I'm open to sensible offers and will ship overseas - bear in mind this has a rosewood fret board and does not have a CITIES certificate.

Much under rated and I feel wrongly so..... The Warwick LWA1000. Not the best but very well made and pop a sadowsky pre in line and its a cracker My main amp is a Demeter Minnie 800 - my reserve is the LWA - solid as a rock.
