  1. Winter Wine - Caravan
  2. You may want to add the Grammy award-winning "Turbulent Indigo" to that list. And mustn't forget "Chalkmark In A Rainstorm". Both superb albums (imho).
  3. Dinner With Gershwin - Donna Summer
  4. Silver Star - Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons
  5. Third and final 'Bish' number with a lush string arrangement. (Yeah, I know, I'm just a big old softie at heart!!! :D) Stephen Bishop - Looking For The Right One
  6. The short opener includes Ray Brown on upright bass and 'Bish' playing acoustic guitar and also 'tromblone'! The follow-on track includes vocal harmonies from THE voice - Michael McDonald. Stephen Bishop - If I Only Had a Brain / Losing Myself in You
  7. For me, Stephen Bishop is one of those singers blessed with a rare quality and purity of tone to their voice. And he writes flippin' good songs, too! (Guest appearance by Chaka Khan). Stephen Bishop - Little Italy
  8. Tiny Demons - Todd Rundgren
  9. Robert De Niro's Waiting - Bananarama
  10. Climb Every Mountain - Julie Andrews
  11. Over You - Roxy Music
  12. Arms of Mary - Sutherland Brothers & Quiver
  13. I meant to say I was already sold on these guys. Top notch!
  14. Don't Speak - No Doubt
  15. Nice!
  16. Going For The One - Affirmative (I mean Yes!)
  17. After Dark - Mr. Kitty
  18. Heat Of The Moment - Asia
  19. Here's another take on a Brian Wilson song. Line up on this track is Shelby Flint - vocals; Tim Weston - guitar; Jimmy Haslip - bass; Pete Erskine - drums; Mitch Forman - keys; Luis Conte - percussion. (I highly recommend the album, too, which also includes Abe Laboriel, Larry Carlton, Steve Khan, The Yellowjackets and others).
  20. I'm with the OP regarding ensemble singing, especially when it's A Capella. From the Hi-Lo's and Singers Unlimited to Take 6 and beyond. Also, as a Beach Boys fan, I wanted to submit the genius (imho) that is Brian Wilson and the short track "Our Prayer" from the brilliant album (again, imho), "Smile". However, I couldn't resist posting the full opening sequence from the album to include "Heroes & Villains". Prog-Pop anyone?
  21. Telephone Line - ELO
  22. Blades of Glory - Bo Bice
