That's almost my set up, except I have the 15" combo GP12 SMX with an older series 2x10 (w/2x5) cab. Funny thing is I've been toying lately with finally letting it all go in favour of something a little more lightweight but am just not sure. Whenever I go out with it, it just does what I need it to do. Ah well... maybe I'll hang on to it a little longer...

Yep, I'd go along with that, Pete. I've pretty much always gone along with the adage: "It's not what you play, it's the way that you play it". (That goes for gear, too).

Looks like the photo permission is set to 'Private'. Change to 'Public' then we can paaaarty!

On the whole, it's been worth it. As others have said gear insurance, public liability, legal advice, also contracts and teaching support - it all helps. I just wish they'd stuck to the previous format for the magazine. The current style looks more like a financial report!

Three fretless's (fretlii?) - all electric. MusicMan Stingray, Westone Thunder 2 (see my sig), both played semi-regularly, plus a Tokai Jazz with a broken rod. (Was fretted but had a luthier convert it to fretless and fix the rod enough to be playable. Just needs to be kept lightly strung but sounds superb. One electro-acoustic - just an Aria AMB-50. Fretted but sounds decent. Would prefer fretless so may get rid for the Takamine I wanted in the first place.

Looks like you may have this well in hand now guys and I look forward to seeing the resulting "compilation album" But should you need an extra helping hand with the search, let me know what's needed. Steve

Interesting to see this video of the factory in Corona 50 years on, by way of comparison. Routers that cut out up to eight guitar bodies at a time, the "guitars-r-us" drying rack and Abigail Ybarra, who's been there making pickups since 1956! Spot the Jaco 'relic' body!
