  1. I did report this back in page 2 but just to say I'm still seeing the dark page numbers against a dark background (see below). This is just on the main topic listing pages. Whichever page in the index I go to is the only one that shows as 'white' with the rest being dark. The individual thread pages, such as this one, are all good. I also tried clearing my browser cache and cookie data. (Win 10, Chrome).
  2. Birthdate is actually 5th Dec 1989 (the bass, not me! ) so will be 33 years old by the end of the year. To be fair, the neck is probably a tad lighter than that in the picture but is nicely aged all the same. The only mod is the white pearl guard I fitted many years ago to replace the original white guard.
  3. Nah, just needs a bit of a clean up. The old girl gets a lot of use!
  4. Following on from the "Page numbers invisibilised" question, this appears to have been fixed within the individual topic pages/threads but I'm still seeing (or rather, not seeing) the page numbers in the topic listing pages (screenshot). (Win 10, Chrome).
  5. I have the same model albeit a bit older (1998). That's a great example you have there and a very fair price, too, especially with the case and candy. Glwts.
  6. Yep, I remember your moniker @Rayman - welcome back to BC.
  7. Supercharge were a great band. Albie Donnelly was an excellent frontman, too. Used to see them in London pubs such as The Golden Lion, The Greyhound, The Nashville Rooms. Anyway, moving on.... Beer for My Horses - Toby Keith feat. Willie Nelson
  8. Haha, crikey, was it that long?! Ah well, like the old BT advert used to say: "It's good to talk...". They just forgot to add "...about bass!"
  9. Bought a J&D "p bass" from Richard @Big Rich which I was able to collect in person the same day (evening) he posted it on Basschat. Very pleased with the bass which Richard had nicely modified with a few upgrades. Also had a very pleasant chat about all things bass. Well, hey, it's what it says on the tin! Edit: Sorry, I should just mention my original feedback thread is actually here:
  10. During my own journeys playing Prog (first through the 70's, then through the 90's to the present day), Gentle Giant figured strongly on my radar (along with Egg, Hatfield & The North, National Health, etc.) and I had a few of their albums on vinyl. The Shulman brothers, along with the rest of the band, had this amazing multi-instrumental aspect which I loved and seeing them live at Hammy Odeon in the 70's, when the album "In A Glass House" came out, cemented that love for a good while longer. But there were always certain aspects of their material that didn't quite gel with me so I guess I eventually fell out of love with GG for a while, subsequently off-loading the vinyl. (Doh! 🙄). Well, all except In A Glass House, which I still have to this day. It's good to know that Ray and Derek Shulman are still going strong today.
