  1. Superb band, I still have "Those Southern Knights" on vinyl along with a few of their other albums. I also saw them in around the mid-70's although, regretfully, Larry Carlton couldn't make it and was replaced by Billy Rogers. Still a great gig, though, and one of a string of three amazing gigs I saw within a few weeks of each other, that being The Crusaders followed by Return To Forever followed by Weather Report. (Those were the days! )
  2. Love Hangover - Diana Ross
  3. The World Became The World - PFM
  4. Yesterday Once More - The Carpenters
  5. Take The A Train - Duke E., Ella F., etc.
  6. Yep, dark'll do for me, too. Nice one, ped! One minor point - looking at the 'Recently browsing' names at the bottom of the page, I don't see mine there. Ah, ok, not until I refresh the page.
  7. I did report this back in page 2 but just to say I'm still seeing the dark page numbers against a dark background (see below). This is just on the main topic listing pages. Whichever page in the index I go to is the only one that shows as 'white' with the rest being dark. The individual thread pages, such as this one, are all good. I also tried clearing my browser cache and cookie data. (Win 10, Chrome).
  8. Birthdate is actually 5th Dec 1989 (the bass, not me! ) so will be 33 years old by the end of the year. To be fair, the neck is probably a tad lighter than that in the picture but is nicely aged all the same. The only mod is the white pearl guard I fitted many years ago to replace the original white guard.
  9. Nah, just needs a bit of a clean up. The old girl gets a lot of use!
  10. SR5. That is all.
  11. Get Your Dog Off Me - Beggars Opera
  12. Following on from the "Page numbers invisibilised" question, this appears to have been fixed within the individual topic pages/threads but I'm still seeing (or rather, not seeing) the page numbers in the topic listing pages (screenshot). (Win 10, Chrome).
  13. Ace of Spades - Motorhead
  14. I have the same model albeit a bit older (1998). That's a great example you have there and a very fair price, too, especially with the case and candy. Glwts.
  15. Yep, I remember your moniker @Rayman - welcome back to BC.
  16. Blue Eyes - Elton John
  17. Seven Days - Sting
  18. Mmmm, Honeyburst! Lovely example. GLWTS.
  19. Don't Kill The Whale - Yes
  20. Supercharge were a great band. Albie Donnelly was an excellent frontman, too. Used to see them in London pubs such as The Golden Lion, The Greyhound, The Nashville Rooms. Anyway, moving on.... Beer for My Horses - Toby Keith feat. Willie Nelson
  21. Haha, crikey, was it that long?! Ah well, like the old BT advert used to say: "It's good to talk...". They just forgot to add "...about bass!"
  22. Meet Me On The Corner - Lindisfarne
  23. Bought a J&D "p bass" from Richard @Big Rich which I was able to collect in person the same day (evening) he posted it on Basschat. Very pleased with the bass which Richard had nicely modified with a few upgrades. Also had a very pleasant chat about all things bass. Well, hey, it's what it says on the tin! Edit: Sorry, I should just mention my original feedback thread is actually here:
