+1 for Best Practice. And yes, it does also have an A>B type repeat facility.

I do love playing my Tune 6-string (see my sig pic) though I guess it gets the most use when I'm doing my Prog stuff. I do take it occasionally on regular covers/function gigs, but it's probably fair to say I'll mainly use a 4 and 5 for those. At the end of the day, you really need to try out for yourself as many as you can to get the feel for what's right for you.

Tbh, B5, that sounded like the rehearsal from hell! But then I've never had much time for players who are totally out of it and unable to get it together. As has already been said, if that's what these guys are into and it floats their boat, then good luck to 'em. Frankly, I would have probably resented them wasting my time.

I'm not sure if he still uses it but Thomas Risell (MarloweDK) on Youtube uses (used?) a PX4D, then a PX5D, for most of his bass videos. Sounded pretty decent to me.

Briefly, I guess I'm more simplistic in that I'll see (or describe) chords and scales in varying shades of light and dark, typically in relation to major and minor chords/scales respectively with other variations somewhere in between.

Mo Foster breaking a string. I do remember, however, Beck bringing on 'an old mate from a few years back' and Jimmy Page stepping out onto the stage. Mind you, I didn't recognise him; he looked like some hermit brought in off the street! I thoroughly enjoyed CBB supporting too. All in all, a knock-out gig for me also.

Well, I'm not sure I could be any later to this 'party' but I've worked my way through these last 8 pages plus the pages of the original thread in question and finally Hamster's statement. Hopefully, I'm more up-to-date with all of this and would just like to add my congrats and much respect to Hamster and the other mods for a job well done. I think if I had seen the original thread from the get-go, I would also have been singing the praises of the little.... no, I won't say it! Needless to say, I would likely also be feeling rather awkward and perhaps wondering about a refund! On a lighter note, my 'ace reply of the thread' award goes to Skankdelvar for his Captain Bexhill post. (Encore, sir, encore! )

I sooo wanted to see this gig and was unable to make it after all, but many thanks to The Funk for what seems like an objective and concise review of the show. I saw the JB 'There And Back' tour in '81 and not seen Beck since. I've not had the pleasure of seeing EC live at all... yet! I'm a long-time huge fan of both and probably would have enjoyed the whole gig anyway (even if, with all due respect to Narada and Rhonda, I would rather have seen Vinnie and Tal with JB on this one). Another bonus, for me, is the fact that Eric had Willie Weeks on bass, even if he did keep it reigned in. (Two keyboard players? Hmmm! ) Oh well, maybe I'll make it later in the year for EC and Stevie Winwood...???

Looks pretty legit to me though I'd also prefer cash on collection. To give the seller the benefit of the doubt, maybe s/he travels around the country in their job and so feels able to offer personal delivery? (Just a thought).
