Good man! Going to be using it solo or with any other pedals.
Amp failure! Ouch. Which one? Was it "not unexpected wear and tear" 'cos it had a fair few miles on the clock?
Congrats!! I very nearly bought that bass off Paul myself! They really are superb basses.
You've caught the bug** haven't you? You'll soon be surpassing my modest hoard of 3 Ibbys and Woody's stash of 6,359 which he keeps in a shed together with 6 months' loo roll and tinned bean supplies ๐
**Ibanez not the OTHER one...
I can tell that you've done a good thing getting into @walshy's supply chain! I think I'm going to have to follow in your footsteps at some point soon!
Out of interest, Walshy what's succeeded the BAmp in your own line up?
Congratulations! You've gone fully Berg (well nearly, just need a Sandberg bass๐)
Can't wait to hear it in action and also to get your thoughts on whether your Mesa M6 could now be relegated to back-up amp...
It does look great!
And TI flats, right?
Although both PJs, it should then be quite a different beast to a Yammy BB 1025 with nickel roundwounds (well at least that's what I'm telling myself to justify the spend ๐)
I can see that you and me are going to get along very well ๐
Yeh word on the street is that Warwicks were (are?) a bit of Spector rip off, but probably no more so than everyone else who found "inspiration" (aka design right theft) from good ole Leo...
@Cosmo ValdemarI was never really a fan of the Dalek tone. Lacked low end and a touch boxy in the mids.
But hey, I suspect none of our audiences would notice...
In which case, you really do owe Sire to get that second bass then. Suggest you return your Yammy BB 435 and get a P7 (after you have tried mine out, of course) ๐
Noooooo! Don't do it Andy! There won't be enough firewood if you are going to be joining me, Sylvie and 4000 at the stake...
๐
PS tbf if folk describe that BB as brown and not orange, you won't be able to complain.
Looks like you, me and Sylvia will be plenty warm when we get tied to a stake and burned.
The irony is that it will be by folk who think relic'd basses are classy.
๐
But I guess I can't complain: I spent a while discussing the P7 model with Andertons and then the guy offered me a discount based on V7 pricing and managed to send out a V7 rather than a P7 before I spotted what he'd done. Happy ending is that they're going to swap the basses to get me the P7 I was after but stick to the discounted price they had given me. So apart from the slight inconvenience and delay, it's not a bad result!
NO Silvia. You've missed the point. No matter how elegant, balanced and good looking a bass may be with white and gold hardware it's just wrong. FACT. No point arguing about it or having a different point of view ๐
