I can't buy anymore basses as I've just bought a house, but oh my that is a lovely high end Bongo!
I've heard a rumour that Line 6 may have something up their sleeves for Summer NAMM.
However, I doubt it's another Helix product. Maybe an update for the Stomp for more blocks?
The result above is much better...but still, it might be worth the team at BF speaking to someone like Marshall or another UK manufacturer for some tolex advice. The guitar cabs do seem like a massive step up.
The guitar cabs show how cool the bass cabs could look. Modern build, high end speakers, but with a classic retro aesthetic. Similar to the Aguilar DB range.
Not that it would stop me buying a bass cab, but it helps.
Very true! Life took a strange turn near Xmas (moved job/house/split from my ex of ten years!) and I'm currently in my new job waiting for my house to be built! All my gear is in storage...but I still want one of these.
I've seen these hit as low as £389 now...so the prices are settling nicely.
I play way more guitar recently but the fact the Stomp is so good for bass and guitar means this is gonna be a no brainer, when I get round to using it!
I'll be ordering asap.
I anticipate that the guitar community might take notice of BF now, considering Rob has SO many devoted followers. If Andertons take interest, we might see more of these.
To be honest, that is poor show that they've not send it in ANY kind of case....at all.
I know it is Roadworn but it still needs to be a softcase for posting.
I've had a few issues with Andertons....they are usually decent but when they have messed up, it isn't that great at all.
I would send them photos. That shouldn't be there. Might be courier damage. It looks as though the strings also took a hit...at that price I'd want another fresh from Fender.
Cool bass. It should arrive in a gig bag.
Re: the fretboard/neck marks. My Roadworn Flea bass is in storage, but I don't think (cannot confirm!) it had any major markings like that near the frets....the back of the neck was roadworn.
Your best bet is to check with another owner - maybe try Talkbass.
Any little dings to the headstock are intentional.
If this is an unhelpful distributor in the UK it further proves why they shouldn't exist. It just costs us more for the end product. When the distributor became involved, Aguilar products went up by £170-200.
Id get involved with Aguilar's social media asap.
