  4. In a similar vein, I played a 'Rock night' in a local pub with different scratch bands. Last act on, the singer, who was drunk, fell backwards into the drum kit!

  11. The Lion at Basford in Nottingham. We've played here a few times and it's always a great gig for us. The crowd were right into it with much cavorting and dad-dancing at the end. Our drummer even got his own fan-club.

  14. The vat was paid up front so it was included and there was no import fee - I believe that purchases under £50 pay zero duty, which is only 2 or 3% anyway
  15. Just used these guys for some strings which were hard to find through normal outlets (or v expensive) www.stringsbymail.com Cost £33.00 all taxes and duties paid and arrived about 7 days after ordering. Best UK price I could find was £48.00

  18. Set of groundwound Elite Custom Strings, mediums 45-65-85-105 NOS but gone rusty in a few places. Never been put on a bass Bought em off eBay and the seller refunded and didn't want them returned which was decent of him Can't bring myself to just bin them so selling for a fiver to cover post and packing
